What a Day for a Daydream

Recording the past, musing about the present, the intensity of the espresso parallels my
mind stream so early in the day.
A whisk of a motion crosses my frontal view, my vision lags behind. The density of the
leaves prevent me from identifying the emblem of the bird who landed on their branch.
Its weight dips the limb. The pressure produced forces a rebounding action. The bough
is shaking in chaos while the bird rides the wave. Getting ready for departure, the bird
thrusts its wings, reversing its propulsion and swims off its perch. The reaction of this
energy reverberates through the branch and all the leaves synchronize their movement
into one undulation. One ripple, one sigh of the whole branch before it returns to
stillness.

Whoa.....energy in motion, energy at rest. Nature puts on these displays everyday. How
can we experience this in our own bodies? Through keeping our senses open, all six of
them. Remember how you feel going to the beach, the mountains, a forest. We take in
the whole sight, sound, smell of the environment. The air touches our skin. We feel into
the expectation of what surprises lie around a tree, a rock, brought onto the shoreline.
What is it good for, this exposure to life around us?

We are one symbiotic body of life, with the same basis of existence = energy. We are
made of the same elements; earth, air, fire, water, metals. The forces of Nature that
express through these constituents are gravity, electromagnetism, strong force, weak
force. Be it tree, a leg, a nucleus of any atom, we can bear witness to energy and what it
does. We normally cannot see it yet we are totally living throughout this life force. Yes,
force giving rise to life, exemplified by the spectrum of existing frequencies.

The rate at which vibration occurs = frequency. The spectrum of color, sound and light
permeates our being. We carry this creative intelligence within each cell. We can access
that same knowledge from the range of frequencies available in our environment. The
Asian, Native American, all indigenous cultures base(d) their medicine upon this
exchange of energy. Matching the frequencies of the body with the appropriate
vibrations of the herbs and food, massage and the laying on of hands plus increasing the
amount of oxygen that courses through the body returns homeostasis and well-being to
our bodymindspirit.

This is a long way of relating how this bird landing in a tree outside my window re-
minded me of e-motion. Attraction to stillness: a rest along its flight. The influence of
that action: the transference of force, perhaps to shake seeds loose. The result behavior:
from chaos to cQohesion, as the branch took in the exchange and absorbed the energetic
properties into its structure. A return to stillness, a complete cycle, demonstrating
wholeness.
Wholeness contains all frequencies existing in cosmos. This vision holds all the
potential to move, all variations of movement and instruction for the maintenance of
structure and function throughout the organism, us or tree! We need to develop the
lifelong skill of dealing with chaos and recovering harmony, if we are to ward off
disease and destruction. Change is constant. Recognizing how our pathway to well-
being unfolds when we accept and appreciate the way our self-expression can be used to
balance our lives is huge.

It requires a great shift in perspective as to why we are here and what to do about it. The
challenges we have as human beings mimic the life of Mother Nature. The wisdom we
have accumulated in life is ever so present in how Nature uses its knowledge to grow.
We can start with observation. Just noticing, breathing, following the action in segments
of our lives. Sitting still, walking slowly, listening. Becoming more aware in our lives
brings us the information, confirmation and the Love that is present. We all want
happiness and vitality. Let us join hands and together wade into the life stream, with
secure footing that all is available now when we trust our hearts to lead us.
