2. Whats the order?

Curry is now the most popular dish in the UK. Read this recipe for chick pea and
vegetable curry and put the sentences in order. If you like it, why not make it!

After the garlic and curry powder, add 225g of sliced carrots, 225g of chopped
mushrooms and 225g of chopped cauliflower. Fry for three minutes more.

1 First, fry one chopped onion for two minutes.

When the curry is boiling, stir in 400g of chick peas. Cook gently for 10 minutes.

Next, add two cloves of crushed garlic and three teaspoons of curry powder to the
onion and stir. Cook for two minutes.

Serve with rice. Enjoy!

After frying the vegetables, add two tablespoons of tomato paste, 225g of tinned
tomatoes and 600ml of vegetable stock. Bring the curry to the boil.

Finally, stir in 100g of peas and cook the curry for 10 minutes more.
