Financial Literacy

Reflection

I find it hard, especially since Im a first-timer for this kind of thing, and I see this as a risk
that I have to take, because Im placing money, not certain of what would happen to it.
However, based on what I found on my latest portfolio, it was worth it for I earned profit,
even though I did not completely comprehend what was happening within the market.
Although, I did earn, I cant still say that Im ready for the stock market, specifically in real
life, because theres more to learn, and understand, regarding the flow of money in this
market, before Im absolutely ready to trade in it. In relation to real stocks trading, Id say
that Im willing to invest first a low to fair amount of money, because Im not a competent
trader yet, but as I gain more experience and knowledge, I may be willing to invest a
higher amount.
As I have observed in my portfolio, even though I earned a profit of approximately 2.3%,
it is still not acceptable on my end for it does not amount to the totality of money spent for
buying the stocks. However, based from my result, it can be seen that individually, the
profits are not lower than 100 pesos, as compared to the negative profits of which have

low prices, meaning that the returns are good in some way.

Although the return isnt that good, the risk included is still tolerable because the negative
profits arent as high as the positive profits, and it can be seen in the recent portfolio that
I still earned a fair return. It is noticeable in the portfolio that the risks are many but not
high enough to overthrow the money I currently have, while the returns are limited but
high enough to exceed the total amount of the negative profits. Nevertheless, a tolerable
risk for now may not last so it is important that I invest smart, learn more about the stocks,
and observe them more carefully because this risk could be as high as costing me all my
money.

My earning on losses can be expounded in such a way that, my losses arent as high as
the earnings, and as a result, the return of money is positive, thus earning back some
money. My losses did not hinder me from earning fair cash, due to the high market prices
of the invested stocks. I still earned even through many losses, for it can be seen in the
portfolio that even though I have a lot of losses in terms of profit per stock, it did not
outbalance the positive profit of the other stocks.
