The Humanities are a discipline in which students think about humans and society by looking at literature, art,
philosophy and the sciences from various perspectives. The course is rooted in the idea that no single system of
values can fully comprehend the world. The problems facing modern society are complex, so much so that even
Liberal Arts finding clues to possible solutions is difficult. In the Faculty of Humanities, students study how our culture and
values were formed and propagated, keeping in mind the structure and history of society and their interactions with
other cultures. The Faculty of Humanities fosters talented individuals who will create new systems of value, propose
them to the public, and be able to change society.

Schools
School of Art SEIKA's Graduate Schools offer postgraduate courses in Art, Design,
Manga and the Humanities. Students will deepen their expertise and

creative views, thoroughly investigating new ways of expression that go
School of Manga beyond existing frameworks. In the three courses of Art,Design and Manga,
School of Humanities students can study not only practical creation but also theoretical research.
Students will actively interact with real society and areas outside their field,
making their research and creations more advanced and universal.
