Technical Designer
13 person student game (7 programmers, 4 artists, 2 producers)
working 5 months on a Real-Time 3D Artillery game.
Spearheaded the design process and ensured that the vision of the
game was maintained throughout the development cycle.
Acted as a liaison between artists and producers to ensure the content
pipeline requirements were adhered to, allowing for assets to be quickly
tested.
Redesigned existing systems to accommodate for a multiplayer
environment.
Managed the creation, lifetime, removal and behavior of all game
objects.
Synched animations to object actions and reactions through the use of
state machines and triggers.
Optimized the code base to increase performance in sections of code
that were flagged as hot spots using Intel Parallel Studio.
Implemented a level of detail system to help with frame rate issues.
