Working as Transmission network planning & Presales Feasibility Planning Engineer at Tata
communications Transformation services ltd, Chennai for the client Vodafone U.K from OCT-2014 up to till
date.

networks with SDH & DWDM platforms which involves various transmission equipments and
NMS softwares.

I. Worked as a Transmission Network Engineer- Service delivery at Telesonic Networks
from Jun-2013 up to Sep-2014.
Role of Responsibility:
Responsible for provisioning leased lines such as E1, ETH circuit for Enterprises business
Networks, internal customers and Trouble shooting.
Provisioning of the VC12, VC3, STM1, STM4 & STM16 links on different network elements such
as ECI,Huawei,Tejas,NSN etc..
Responsible for provisioning PRI,L2 circuits such as MPLS,ILP,ISP circuits at SDH level as per
customer requirement.
Playing an important role in taking care of Constraints and Choking in the Transport Network
of TNL which involves Planning and Implementation of strategies to eradicate the Constraints &
Choking in the Network.
Diversely Routed Network Critical E1s to overcome failure in case of Multiple Fiber cuts and/or
hardware failure to increase Resiliency.
Upgradation & Shifting of E1,ETH,ILP,MPLS,ISP,PRI circuits as per customer requirements.
Coordination with field engineers to test the circuits to provide error free service delivery to
customers.

II.Worked as a Transmission Network Engineer in SCOM Technologies Pvt Ltd for client
Bharti Airtel Ltd from Jun-2012 up to Jun-2013.

Role of Responsibility:
Checking Traffic feasibility, Network Planning, Implementation of Network to the customer in
the Network Management System (NMS).
Addition, Insertion & Deletion of network elements from the NMS.
Traffic shifting ,Mux swap & bandwidth up-gradation from STM-1 to STM-4, STM-4 to STM-16.
Reparenting of nodes,IP changes of Network element in NMS
Responsible for visibility of all nodes on NMS through DCC mapping or using channel-22 or
Channel-64 method..
Configuring circuits on diversity path,inorder to provide better reliability to the customers.
Metasolv 6.1 version is an Vendor Independent Application tool which is used to maintain the
database of Alcatel, Nortel, ECI and Tellabs Equipments .
Handling Change management in Remedy application.

III. Worked as a NOC Engineer in Prompt Personnel Ltd, Client of Tata communications
Ltd , Chennai from March-2011 to Jun-2012.

Role of Responsibility:
Responsible for timely fault detection & interpret alarm information in order to classify the
alarm severity, root cause analysis of information and identify the Network element affected &
first level trouble shooting.
Monitoring and troubleshooting NPLC, IPLC, MPLS ,VPN, Internet Leased Lines (ILL).
Rerouting and Trouble shooting of circuits in case of Fiber cut or any other network faults
within the SLA.
L2 support and technical solutions for corporate customers.
 Coordinating with different BSOs and vendors towards the installation, commissioning and
troubleshooting of last mile connectivity (BSNL, TTSL, Bharti and Reliance).
Troubleshooting problems in Optical Networks and & wireless network (radwin, wimax) within
the SLA.
Trouble shooting of issue such as Latency, CRC errors on Wireless and wire line links. .

IV. Worked as a Network Engineer-configuration in Tata Tele Services Ltd (off role),
Chennai from Oct-2009 to March 2011.

Role of Responsibility:
Configuring and Testing LL, PRI, E1 for Enterprises Business Networks.
Configuring E1s for Sistema shyam telecom (MTS), Tata Gsm,Uninor,Tata Cdma and Videocon.
