Evaluative Tasks:
Classroom Comportment & Discussion of Readings (30%)

Students will be expected to be cooperative and respectful with peers and instructor, come to class prepared to
discuss the reading, and use their in-class work time efficiently.
Examinations (30%, 10% each)

Examinations will cover material presented in the classroom and in the

In class, students will design and execute a timeline illustrating the evolution of a field of technology us-
ing tiki-toki, timeglider, or timetoast web applications
TechnoText (15%)

In class, students will write a 1000-word position paper on a contemporary technological issue referencing
at least three articles on the same topic published by sources deemed reputable by the instructor.
TechnoTactility (10%)

Students will demonstrate for the class one or more of the following principles of technology using physi-
cal objects
Diffusion (Idea or Blueprint)

Speciation (Evolutionary Parallels)

Interchangeability (Both as a Means and an End)
