AIM
S
- to be able to recognise summer

Children recognised that summer is the hottest season between autumn
and spring in which days are longest and night are shortest.

- to know what happens in summer

Children knew that summer is fun in which they were spending lots of time outside
in the park because of a nice weather. They also knew that they need to apply sun
protection to their faces and skin before going outside. In the park, they had so much
funplaying with a parachute, sack race competition and etc.

- to develop children skills in arts and crafts

We explored various activities for summer such as; making ice cream, fan, aquarium,
beachball, a pair of slippers, cap, banana tree, pineapple, sun and etc. Through these
activities, children skills in arts and crafts have been developed.

VES
- to explore water

Children explored water in the park in various ways using prepared materials suited for
it. They were also experimenting how to make bubbles with water and soap.

- to understand the importance of water

Children understand that water is important for everything. They understand that without
water, people, animals and plants will gonna die. That’s why, they concluded to take
care of it by cleaning the surrounding and not to waste the water.

- exploring colours

Through activities we had, children explored colours by using tempera, watercolour,
crayons and markers. Children also knew how to recognise colours of every finished
product of their work and understand what happens when they mix colours.
