RESOLUTION NO. 95-02


DELINEATING THE BOUNDARIES OF TAMPAKAN, SOUTH COTABATO AND COLUMBIO, SULTAN KUDARAT
AS WELL AS THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PROVINCES OF THE SOUTH COTABATO AND SULTAN KUDARAT
AND ADOPTING THE SAME AS HEREIN DEFINED

Whereas, the Municipalities of Tampakan, South Cotabato and Columbio, Sultan Kudarat, in a joint
session held at Plazabelle, Koronadal, South Cotabato on June 27, 1994 passed and approved Joint
Resolution No. 2 requesting the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of South Cotabato and Sultan
Kudarat for the early settlement of the boundary conflict;

Whereas, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of South Cotabato and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Sultan
Kudarat in a Joint Session held at the SP Session Hall of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat on July 25, 1994, agreed to
create a Joint Committee on Boundary Conflict composed of 5 Sangguniang Panlalawigan members of
both provinces and the mayors of the two municipalities;

Whereas, on August 10, 1994, the Committee agreed to adopt the ground rules on the settlement of
boundary conflict;

Whereas, on August 24, 1994, the Committee passed, approved and adopted ground rules on the
settlement of boundary dispute per Resolution No. 1 of the Committee;
