Dutch Caribbean Gaming Regulation Forum:
Promoting Best Practice in Regulation and Compliance
Regional Training Programme, 14 - 16 August 2017

Curacao, 2017
This regional training programme brings together gaming industry representatives from Aruba, Bonaire,
Curacao, Sint Maarten and Suriname - jurisdictions which have long established themselves as perfect
Caribbean getaways, and between them boast over 40 casinos and hotel resorts.

Presented in partnership with the Gaming Control Board of Curacao and held at one of Willemstads premier
hotel resorts, the Forums principle objective is to look at gaming regulation in the context of regional growth,
improved transparency and greater social responsibility. To this end, the programme is designed to provide a
platform for operators, regulators and suppliers to the gaming industry to share intelligence, discuss regulatory
developments and address the common challenges they face within this dynamic and ever-evolving sector.

The expert-led sessions draw on speakers regional and international experience in order to bring participants
the very latest in gaming regulation, surveillance, security, allowing them to better navigate developments
and challenges arising in their own jurisdictions and to assess their current regulatory frameworks within the
greater context of global compliance and best practice in regulation and compliance.

A particular focus will be on applying international best practice in participating jurisdictions to better enable
operators to avoid reputational damage, and possible sanction from casino and AML/CFT regulators. In so
doing, and by encouraging improved commercial and regulatory cooperation in the region, the forum will
ultimately serve to improve both the bottom line of operators and the performance of the sector as whole.

Who Should Attend?

The forum is designed for the Dutch Caribbean but we welcome participants from other jurisdictions - and
particularly those in the following positions:

Casino directors and floor managers and Online Gaming Operators

Financial Intelligence Units
Law Enforcement & Public Prosecutors
Tax & Revenue Authorities
