With similar ideologies to revolutionize the industry and change the
dynamics of transportation, US-based UM International, LLC & Lohia
Auto joined hands in September 2014 to form UM Lohia Two-
Wheelers Pvt. Ltd. (UML). So far an investment of INR 100 crores has
gone into this JV for business expansion. Manufacturing has already
been underway at the Lohia Auto's Kashipur facility in Uttarakhand,
which will also support the Government's 'Make in India initiative.

Design
The Commando's low-slung seating, and wide-set handlebars are inspired by vintage
American military bikes built for long hours of riding in terrains known and unknown. The
Commando features a bulky petrol tank with an integrated instrument cluster for a clean
handlebar, and wide metallic fenders built to tackle tough road conditions.
Safety
The front brake with radially bolted floating 2 piston caliper and massive 280 mm
disc ensures precise and safe braking on every terrain.
Riding
The Commando features an ergonomic riding position with pulled-back narrow handlebars for easy
city commute, front set footrests for a relaxed upright seating, and a wide cushioned seat for the
long haul while you're out exploring your freedom.
Engine &
Transmission
The Commando is powered by a strong and reliable single cylinder 4 valve, liquid cooled engine, which
delivers 25hp of power and 22 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission that is geared for
city use at low speeds, and comes equi pped with an overdrive mode for comfortable highway cruising
in 6th gear.

Design
The new Renegade Sports S has redefined the concept of a sports cruiser - pure American muscle
with the comfort of a full-sized cruiser, and innovations that you come to expect in modern bikes,
all of these can be experienced at once with this machine. The Renegade Sports S was designed
to conquer the motorcycle enthusiast seeking the riding comfort of a cruiser, combined with the
performance and looks of a sports bike.
Safety
Motorcyclist safety has become a large part of our innovations and is a unique characteristic of
UM motorcycles. Visibility is very important when riding a motorcycle from the first perspective
of being seen by other drivers. Our 360 degree illumination provides adequate lighting to
enhance your safety and riding experience.
Riding
A T-shaped handlebar, sports grips and a low center of gravity offer the rider complete control
while riding this power-packed cruiser on the roads.
Engine &
Transmission
The Sports S is powered by high performance 4 valve liquid cooled engine, which delivers 25hp
and is coupled to 6 speed smooth shifting gearbox with overdrive for smooth highway cruising,
and increased fuel efficiency. Power is transferred to the ground via a massive 140mm rear tyre.
The sharp throttle response is always eager to tear city asphalt and seize the highway in style.
