Reminders:
NB NB NB !!! ZS6WR Club Open Day and Support to QRP contest team.

Saturday 8 April the West Rand club will partake in the SARL Autumn QRP
Sprint contest. The ZS6WR clubs QRP team comprising of Nick ZS6NCK and
Arno ZS6ARN will be setting up a field station and have asked for all club
members to support by making contact on 40m and other HF bands.

The club have invited all club members to the club house on the day for an
open day titled Bring your call sign and braai.
The day will start off with a quick club clean in the morning followed by
Technical display and Interesting Talk after 12h00. The On Air session will
start at 14h00 for the 40m band and 15h00 the club will move to 10, 15
and 20m for contacts with the QRP team. The braai fire will be lit at 13h30
sharp. All member in the log will be inline of a lucky draw and if you have a
sweet tooth it will be well worth the contact.

Everyone is invited to submit an article for Anode. Even if it is some small piece of news
or an interesting web site with a small description will be welcomed.

POPS (Poor Old Pensioners) Every Wednesday @ 10:00 15:00
This is an event that is open to all who would like to come and socialise, discuss ideas,
fix equipment or just to pop in for a visit. So, if you are free on a Wednesday, you are
welcome to come and visit.
