Statement of Purpose
I navigate the intersection of human society and the surrounding environment through creative projects
and journalistic scholarship.

My research interests include: analyzing environmental change science and knowledge production with
feminist theory; incorporating environmental justice, postcolonial realities, and indigenous rights in my
research; understanding environmental history; and recognizing agency, even in the face of adversity.
