Prep for your mobile phone

PREMIUM prep for mobile phone available for the Passat and Passat Variant, mobile
phone access via Bluetooth wireless technology, providing a wireless connection with
compatible equipment. In principle, it is in fact a landline built. The special feature: the
system recognizes your mobile phone and GSM SIM takes all the data and exploit them
properly. To this end, the facility equipment PREMIUM vehicle forward all relevant
information via SIM-Access-Profile, using Bluetooth technology.
The advantage: a single SIM card are available all data stored in your mobile phone and
your vehicle. Without the driver having to take out of your pocket and use the mobile
phone, the connection with the external antenna is performed independently. You no
longer need a troubling support for mobile phone at the dashboard and the passenger does
not appear any pollution by radio.
Automatically adapting the distance

Automatic distance adaptation is an additional radar cruise control and automatically


ensures, given the limitations of the system, the correct distance to the vehicle ahead. If
the vehicle approaches a car running in front of the slower adjustment system
automatically brakes the distance to achieve this vehicle speed and maintain distance pre-
selected by the driver. The speed is reduced in this way in the case of a motor vehicle
lane changes. If the vehicle in front leaves the lane, the system enables acceleration up to
the desired speed. Automatic distance regulation thus contribute to a superior driving
comfort and improved safety. However, the responsibility remains the responsibility of
the driver. To this end, a radar sensor continuously monitors an area of up to 180 meters
in front of the vehicle. It is not only measured distance, but closer to the speed of a
vehicle running forward. If it falls below the safety limit, the distance control system
automatically reduces speed through intervention on engine management and, where
appropriate, on the brake. If the necessary deceleration exceeds 30 percent of maximum
deceleration, it requires the driver to brake. And if the distance control system is
activated, the responsibility for checking the speed and distance monitoring from the
vehicle in front remains with the driver. Automatically adjusting the distance does not
react to stationary obstacles and approaching vehicles running in the opposite direction.
This system shall not be used on routes with large numbers of curves and inclement
weather, eg fog, ice or heavy rain.

Adjusting the level

With the help of level adjustment, air suspension keeps the vehicle at a constant level in
both axes, regardless of its state of charge. In this four level sensors determine the
distance between the axles and body permanently. If the identified deviation from the
reference distance, is on a compressor by means of solenoid valves, balancing the
pressure at the level of the suspension so as to be reached again, in some rubbing of a
second reference position of adjustment.
Automatically adjusting the level contribute to improving safety and ride comfort,

Rain Sensor

wiper. This provides a great advantage from the point of view of safety, especially if it is
suddenly affected visibility, for example above a truck on a wet road.

Comfortable system for opening / closing


When closing or opening the car on the driver side or passenger side can be opened and
closed door windows simultaneously. All power windows (including electric sunroof)
open or close the opening or closing pushbutton remote control. Is released, the process

Navigation System

The navigation system is an electronic device intended to identify geographical position,


providing, if necessary, assistance to reach your destination. The system offers the driver
the best route to your destination via an audible message and information displayed on
the screen. The system consists of the following major components: GPS antenna,
computer navigation system and display.
Using the antenna for Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation system receives data
from satellites that are on the geostationary orbit Earth. By taking these data is possible
precise location of a vehicle with a margin of error of several meters. By taking the
vehicle was in motion of updated constantly and comparing with the speed sensor
information of the anti-lock wheels, the computer can calculate the route the vehicle. To

LED technology

Active headrests

Stationary ventilation / heating

Ventilation / heating stationary type provides additional comfort in any season. The
system can be activated by a clock timer or by remote control (range up to 600 meters).
The duration of heating is approximately one hour. In summer, the same equipment
provides an effective ventilation of the vehicle parked. It provides improved comfort in
the first minutes after starting off. The clock timed ventilation stationary or stationary
