kinds of thinking mentioned in the text. What are these?

The first marker was is in the 2nd paragraph where the sentence stated that Reverie is
our favourite kind of thinking. Aside from that, same paragraph cited example that might
hint us what might reverie means. In the 4th paragraph, it said that the first kind of
thinking is often interrupted by the "second kind of thinking" telling directly what is the
2nd kind which is practical desicions. Also the same paragraph gives clues that practical
decisions is much more laborious and difficult thing than reverie.Especially the words
make up our mind tells us it has something to do with decisions. The 5th paragraph
started with the phrase "A third kind of thinking" which obviously tells us that the 3rd type
og thinking has something to do with the way we thing when someone questions our

4. What is the importance of marker?

The markers gave a lot of contribution in finding the kinds of thinking. As a reader,I could
say that a lengthy texts can sometimes be confusing and hard to understand especially
when you are trying to determine something that was mentioned and I could say that the
markers led me directly to the kinds of thinking, by numbering and stating it exactly thus
making it easier to identify.
5. Outline the selection with the help of structural markers found in the selection?

James Harvey Robinson stated in his essay "On Various Kinds of Thinking", that if for a
moment we forget about the things that our pilosophers have imprinted us and to see
what seems to happen in ourselves. The initial thing that you would notice is how fast our
thinking leaps from one thing to another. Our favorite kind of thinking is spontaneous in
where we let our own thought go with the flow and is determined by our hopes and fears,
our spontaneous desires and our fullfilment or frustration. It is now known as a reverie.
The second kind of thinking interrupts the reverie. We must make a practical decisions.
They are harder and more sedulous compare to a reverie and we resent to having a final
decision when we are to engaged in reverie. The third kind of thinking is stimulated when
any question our beliefs and opinion wherein we as a human being, have nature of
defending ourselves from an attack. The last type of thinking raised man from his pristine,
sub savage ignorance to the degree of knowledge and comfort in which now he/she
possess.
6. Have you engaged in the various type of thinking mentioned on the text? Which type of it do you
most frequently engaged in?

I guess we've been engage to all these various types of thinking, but if we were to decide
which type we have been very engage in, we'd say, "reverie" bc we believe that most of
the time, we were lost in our own thoughts, ideas on our minds always come freely and it
has been influencing our speculations very often.
7. What benefits do we get from the different types of thinking?

Discussing different types of thinking helps us recognize our own thoughts, made us
observe our own reasons and understand other people's belief.
