CGJA now partnered with American Legion Post 82
“Camp Gordon Johnston”
Recognizing the past efforts of the American Legion Post 82 in Lanark Village
with thier support, financially and materially, the CGJA Board of Directors
voted recently to “partner” with Post 82 in holding events to raise funds for
both the Post and “Camp Gordon Johnston Days.” A spaghetti Dinner with live
music, a 50/50 and silent auction is planned for November 13th Veterans Day
weekend in Carrabelle. More details will be on the web page next month.

CGJ WWII Museum again to participate in the

Smithsonian Magazine “National Museum Day”
On September 25th, the Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum will be open
from 1000 hours untill 1700 hours along with countless other Museums across Number of Museum
the country. this will be our 3th consecutive year of joining with the Smithsonian.
There will be live music from 1200 til 1500 hours featuring 40’s type songs. If

months to go!
American Legion Post 13, Sauls-Bridges donates
$500.00 to the CGJA Museum Fund!
Post Commander Val Fraily of American Legion
post 13 in Tallahassee, Florida recently presented
a check for $500.00 to the CGJ WWII Museum
Fund. Post 13 has long been been active in
supporting both the Museum and “Camp Gordon
Johnston Days”. .Commander Fraily, on the right The Camp Gordon Johnston Association is a not for
