Assessment Type and Conditions:

A career portfolio is a big-picture document from which you can select relevant materials for various career-related
uses. Create or update your personal electronic career portfolio. The information used in the portfolio must be
based on a job which is of interest to you.

Purpose:

To have a clear plan of what your work goal is and how to achieve it and have a professional resume to be able to
utilise to record your achievements and submit for possible work experience and work opportunities.

Task description:

ACTIVITIES
Creating a Career Portfolio Completed

1 Create an Evernote. This will be the online platform that we are using to store all of our
documentation.
2 Use our Resume Template to Create a professional Resume for yourself. (Week 6)
Upload this resume on to Evernote.
3 Use our Cover Letter Template to Create a professional Cover Letter for Yourself.
Upload this cover letter on to Evernote.
4 Use our Work Experience Template to Create a professional email to send to companies
to look for work experience. Upload this email on to Evernote. Once you have created
this template. Google 10 businesses that you think would be good to do work
experience at and send them an email. Dont forget to CC me in on each of these
emails.
5 Bring in and Scan any Certificates etc. that you have for your Portfolio. Upload these
documents on to Evernote.
