danovizam - Ideoloka kontrola ivota.

Armory Show - Among the many exhibitions that have been held in the vast spaces of U.S. National
Guard armories, the Armory Show typically refers to the International Exhibition of Modern Art that
was organized by the Association of American Painters and Sculptors in 1913, the first large exhibition
of modern art in America. The three-city exhibition started in New York City's 69th Regiment Armory,
on Lexington Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets, from February 17 until March 15, 1913. The
exhibition went on to show at the Art Institute of Chicago and then to The Copley Society of Art in
Boston,[1] where, due to a lack of space, all the work by American artists was removed.[2] The show
became an important event in the history of American art, introducing astonished Americans, who
were accustomed to realistic art, to the experimental styles of the European avant garde, including
Fauvism, Cubism, and Futurism.

kompozicije manje vane. Glavni predstavnici: J. Pollock, H. Hofmann, De Kooning, F. Kline, R.
Motherwell.

apstraktnog ekspresionizma. Najistaknutiji predstavnici slikarstva polja boje su Kliford Stil, Barnet
Njuman i Mark Rotko.
ista boja, skoro nematerijalno.
Slikarstvo vrstih rubova (hard edge painting) - is painting in which abrupt transitions are found
between color areas. Color areas are often of one unvarying color. The Hard-edge painting style is
related to Geometric abstraction, Op Art, Post-painterly Abstraction, and Color Field painting.[2]

Art and Language - Art & Language is a conceptual artists' collaboration that has undergone many
changes since it was created in the late 1960s. The group was founded by artists who shared a
common desire to combine intellectual ideas and concerns with the creation of art. The first issue of
the group's journal, Art-Language, was published in November of 1969 in England, and was an
important influence on conceptual art in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Earthworks - Land art was part of the wider conceptual art movement in the 1960s and 1970s. The
most famous land art work is Robert Smithsons Spiral Jetty of 1970, an earthwork built out into the
Great Salt Lake in the USA. Though some artists such as Smithson used mechanical earth-moving
equipment to make their artworks, other artists made minimal and temporary interventions in the
landscape such as Richard Long who simply walked up and down until he had made a mark in the
earth.Land art, which is also known as earth art, was usually documented in artworks using
photographs and maps which the artist could exhibit in a gallery. Land artists also made land art in
the gallery by bringing in material from the landscape and using it to create installations. As well as
Richard Long and Robert Smithson, key land artists include Walter de Maria, Michael Heizer and
Dennis Oppenheim

Enformel - is a pictorial movement that includes all the abstract and gestural tendencies that
developed in France and the rest of Europe during the World War II parallel to American abstract
expressionism.[1] Several distinguishing trends are identified within the movement such as lyrical
abstraction, matter painting, New Paris School, tachisme and art brut. The French art critic Michel
Tapi coined the term "art autre" (other art) in the homonymous book in 1952 in relation to non-
geometric abstract art. This movement has given way to New Informalism in the year 2000 in Chevry
ll, in Gif sur Yvettes, France.

Art brut - Jean Dubuffet saw fine art as dominated by academic training, which he referred to as art
culturel or cultural art. For Dubuffet, art brut which included graffiti, and the work of the insane,
prisoners, children, and primitive artists was the raw expression of a vision or emotions, untramelled
by convention. He attempted to incorporate these qualities into his own art, to which the term art
brut is also sometimes applied.

Optika umjetnost (Op Art) - Op art, short for optical art, is a style of visual art that uses optical
illusions.
Op art works are abstract, with many better known pieces created in black and white. Typically, they
give the viewer the impression of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibrating patterns, or of
swelling or warping.
