Abstract: Author has introduced the defects and the shortages existed in traditional cooling crystallization p rocess technology adop ted in the p roduc2
tion of potassium nitrate in China, discussed the technical advantages, p rocess characteristic and p roduction app lication effect of vacuum cooling crystalli2
zation p rocess and outer circulation cooling crystallization p rocess self developed in recent years in China; it indicates that these two kinds of cooling crys2
tallization p rocess technologies comp ly with the tendency for develop ing p roduction of potassium nitrate in large scale, high quality and high benefit, in
China, and it is the develop ing direction for potassium nitrate p roduction p rocess in future.
