Basic Salary: These are set to local standards, subject to regular evaluation and individual distinction is always
recognised.

Stock Awards: This is a long-term incentive used to recognise and reward anticipated performance and future
contribution. Dependent on your level stock awards may be granted annually and they vest over five years. With
each vesting, you receive Microsoft common shares that you will own outright.

Pension: The MS Ireland Pension Plan is a contribution plan. The employees contribution to the pension plan can
be 3%, 5% or 7% of your gross salary. MS will match your contribution plus 1%, i.e. 4%, 6% or 8%. The
employee will have a choice of funds in which to invest the contributions and changes can be made once a year at
scheme renewal.

Worldwide Emergency Assistance Programme (WEAP): Microsoft recognises that while travelling on
company business, emergency situations can occur and require immediate attention. The WEAP offers assistance
24-hours a day, seven-days a week.

Long Term Disability Pay: If an employee is unable to attend normal work because of sickness or an accident
and no other occupation for reward or profit is received, you are entitled to income over a specific period at the
companys discretion

Personal Leave of Absence: Opportunity to apply for PLOA up to twelve weeks in total. You must have a minimum of
two years of service with Microsoft and have a satisfactory work performance.

Occupational Health: Occupational Health is concerned with prevention of occupational injury and ill health
through risk assessments, management and proactive programmes run regularly to foster good health.

Educational Assistance: Microsoft Ireland will provide funding for employees to obtain recognised educational
qualifications and support their career development. This will need to be discussed with employees line
managers. Microsoft will reimburse up to 100 per cent of course fees upon successful completion.

Office ergonomics: Professional and personal assistance with the furniture and equipment in your work area.

Software Matching Gifts Programme: This supports local schools, colleges, and universities. Microsoft will
match whatever software employees donate, up to a set limit.

onsite store located in Building 2.

Referral Scheme: Employees are encouraged to refer potential candidates to active roles within Microsoft
Ireland and if a successful hire is made they will be entitled to a reward of 2,500
