COLLECT:
Almighty God, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you: teach us
to offer ourselves to your service, that here we may have your peace, and in the world to come may see you
face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, now and for ever. Amen.

GATHERING: Take my body, take my saving blood.

Gifts of bread and wine:
FINAL HYMN:
Immortal, invisible, God only wise, Christ our Lord. Will you come and follow me
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, if I but call your name?
Most blessed, most glorious, Christ our Saviour, living presence here, Will you go where you dont know
the Ancient of Days, as He promised while on earth: and never be the same?
Almighty, victorious, I am with you for all time, Will you let my love be shown,
Thy great name we praise. I am with you in this bread and wine. will you let my name be known,
Take my body.... will you let my life be grown
Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, in you and you in me?
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Through the Father, with the Spirit,
Thou rulest in might; one in union with the Son, Will you leave your self behind
Thy justice like mountains for Gods people, joined in prayer, if I but call your name?
high soaring above faith is strengthened by the food we Will you care for cruel and kind
Thy clouds which are fountains share. and never be the same?
of goodness and love. Take my body... Will you risk the hostile stare
should your life attract or scare,
To all life Thou givest, will you let me answer prayer
to both great and small; in you and you in me?
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish Will you let the blinded see
as leaves on the tree, if I but call your name?
And wither and perish, Will you set the prisoners free
but nought changeth Thee.
COMMUNION: and never be the same?
From heaven you came helpless babe Will you kiss the leper clean
Great Father of Glory, Entered our world, your glory veiled and do such as this unseen,
pure Father of Light Not to be served but to serve and admit to what I mean
Thine angels adore Thee, And give Your life that we might live in you and you in me?
all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render, This is our God, The Servant King Will you love the you you hide
O help us to see: He calls us now to follow Him if I but call your name?
Tis only the splendor To bring our lives as a daily offering Will you quell the fear inside
of light hideth Thee. Of worship to The Servant King and never be the same?
Will you use the faith youve found
Immortal, invisible, God only wise, There in the garden of tears to reshape the world around
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, My heavy load he chose to bear through my sight and touch and sound
Most blessed, most glorious, His heart with sorrow was torn in you and you in me?
the Ancient of Days, 'Yet not My will but Yours,' He said
Almighty, victorious, Lord, your summons echoes true
Thy great name we praise. Come see His hands and His feet when you but call my name.
The scars that speak of sacrifice Let me turn and follow you
Hands that flung stars into space and never be the same.
To cruel nails surrendered In your company Ill go
where your love and footsteps show.
OFFERTORY: So let us learn how to serve Thus Ill move and live and grow
in you and you in me.
And in our lives enthrone Him
Gifts of bread and wine, Each other's needs to prefer
gifts weve offered, For it is Christ we're serving
fruits of labour, fruits of love:
taken, offered, sanctified,
blessed and broken;
