1 General Information and Scope Scope The following 400 kV double circuit transmission lines are included in the scope of the Contractor for various packages. Package – A1 (i) LILO of 400 kV Double Circuit (Triple Bundle) Baspa – N.Jhakri Line at Karcham Wangtoo – approx. kms (ii) 400 kV Double Circuit (Quad Bundle) Karcham Wangtoo – Abdullapur Line (Part-I) – approx. kms Package – A2 (i) 400 kV Double Circuit (Quad Bundle) Karcham Wangtoo – Abdullapur Line (Part-II) – approx. kms Package – A3 (i) 400 kV Double Circuit (Quad Bundle) Karcham Wangtoo – Abdullapur Line (Part-III) – approx. kms 1.1.2 This Specification covers the following scope of works: (i) detailed survey including route alignment, profiling, tower spotting, optimisation of tower locations, soil resistivity measurement & geotechnical investigation (including special foundation locations, viz.,pile/well foundation locations, if any) (ii) check survey; (iii) fabrication and supply of all type 400kV transmission line towers, including River crossing towers (wherever applicable) as per Owner design/drawings including fasteners, anti theft fasteners, step bolts, hangers, D-shackles etc. (iv) all types of tower accessories like phase plate, circuit plate, number plate, danger plate, anti climbing device, Bird guard (where ever applicable) (v) supply of Earth wire, Hardware Fittings and Conductor & Earth wire Accessories, (vi) classification of foundation for different type of tower and casting of foundation for tower footings as per Owner foundations drawing; (vii) erection of towers, tack welding of bolts and nuts including supply and application of zinc rich primer & two coats of enamel paint, tower earthing, fixing of insulator strings, stringing of conductors and earth wires along with all necessary line accessories,
