2. The diagram shows a velocity-time graph representing the

motion of a car. The car starts from rest and accelerates

uniformly for 10 s until it reaches a velocity of 20 ms. The

car maintains at this speed for 10 s and finally slows down

uniformly until it comes to rest.

(i) 5s, (ii) 15s, (iii) 30s

(b) Calculate the displacement of the car

(i) When the car accelerates in the first 10 s,

(ii) When the car is moving with the constant velocity

(iii) When the car decelerates until it comes to rest

(c) What is the total displacement of the car?

(d) Calculate the average velocity throughout the whole journey.

(e) Plot an acceleration time graph

(d) The displacement at the final second,
