THE WARBLERS ARE COMING!

The fall migration is in full swing and my favorites are
the warblers. I was lucky to have this Prairie Warbler
visit our bird bath right outside the kitchen window.

MIGRATING BIRDS
The best thing you can do for migrating birds and for
our non-migrating birds is to provide a safe place for
them to eat and drink. Bird baths are greatly
appreciated by birds when rains become scarce. Make
sure that the base of your bird bath doesn't give cats
an opportunity to hide and pounce on unsuspecting
birds and place your birdfeeder close to cover so that
the birds can hide from any swooping predators. The female painted buntings are here too!
We are watching for the males.
