1 General rules
This manual is applicable to the use of cargo elevators of ASW-JSW control system
produced by the factory.
1.1 The normal working conditions of the cargo elevator control system shall conform to
relevant provisions of JG135-2000.
1.2 In order to ensure the safe operation of cargo elevators, proper maintenance
management system must be established, with the requirements as follows:
a) Conduct inspection and maintenance on the safety circuit and electrical control
components weekly;
b) Conduct detailed inspection, adjustment and repair on important mechanical and
electrical equipment quarterly;
c) Conduct the test on the cargo elevator control system annually, check the working
conditions of all the mechanical and electrical safety circuits and the insulation
resistance values, and replace the seriously damaged devices;
d) When the elevator is out of service for more than seven days, it can only be used
after the detailed inspection;
1.3 Take a good record of the operation conditions of the cargo elevator control system.
The user unit needs the well trained and qualified personnel to operate the elevator
control system, the elevator base station key and emergency key need those personnel
for safekeeping.
1.4 The door towards the machine room shall be locked.
As for the incompletely closed shaft way, the users shall take corresponding measures
to avoid the intentionally or unintentional entry of irrelevant personnel.
2 Instructions for operation
2.1 Preparation for start-up
a) Confirm that all the operation switches are placed in normal positions;
b) Close the power switch of the machine room distribution box;
c) Place the control cabinet power switch at ON.
2.2 Operation and operating
a) Hall call
1) If the cargo elevator is in standby state on the floor with debris, the porters shall
manually open the landing doors;
2) If the cargo elevator is in standby state on other floors, after the porters press the
call button, the elevator immediately starts operating in response to the call
elevator with the porters on;
3) When the car reaches the lasted recorded call layer station in a certain direction,
it will change the direction in response to the call elevator in the reverse
b) Automatically return to the base station (optional)
1) According to users requirements, a certain floor can be set as the base station,
generally the first floor;
2) After the cargo elevator in response to the last call command, if there is no call
signals within the set time, the elevator will automatically return to the base
station, without opening the door;
3) In the process of returning to base, if someone calls the elevator, the elevator
will stop at the nearest floor, without opening the door.
c) Overload protection
If the cargo elevator is detected in the overload state, the buzzer in the car rings, and
the cargo elevator cannot be started.
d) Passing chime
1) When the cargo elevator reaches the call floor of the porters, the passing chime
on the car top shall ring, reminding the porters of the arrival of the cargo
e) Straight travel service
1) In the straight travel state, the cargo elevator only shall not response to the
porters to call the floor signals.
2) Other states of the straight travel service are the same as those of the drivers
2.3 Overhaul operation
a) The machine room emergency electric operation
1) No matter the cargo elevator operation is in what kind of operation mode
(normal operation and self-learning operation), the cargo elevator shall be
stopped immediately after the action of the emergency electric switch;
2) The emergency electric operation speed is 0.3m/s, after the action of the
emergency electric operation switch, press the upward or downward button on
the emergency electric operation box, the cargo elevator shall take upward or
downward operation;
3) The emergency electric operation will make the governor switch, the upper and
lower limit switch and the safety gear electrical switch fail to work;
4) When the cargo elevator switches the emergency electric operation mode to the
normal operation mode, the elevator can take normal operation.
2.4 The elevator safety protection facilities
a) Safety circuit parking
1) During the elevator operation process, if the safety circuit is disconnected, the
elevator door is opened or the safety switch acts, an emergency stop shall be

b) Slowing down device (optional)
The slowing down device installation is to prevent that the elevator is too fast to
cause staggered state when the cargo elevator stops at the station, as for the cargo
elevator stopping at the floor with the elevator speed at 1.0m/s, it can also prevent
the overturn situation of cargoes.
2.5 Processing of serious conditions
a) When the following three serious cases occur, it can be used only after being
strictly checked, restored and identified by relevant departments.
1) The elevator has severe top hitting, pit squatting or car rolling;
2) Fire occurs;
3) Earthquake occurs.
b) Rules and steps for release of the cargoes trapped in the cargo elevator
(processing mode):
In case of the cargo elevator failure, promptly notify the elevator repair
department, before the arrival of the professional repair personnel, as for sudden
power outage, the trained rescue personnel shall release the trapped passengers
according to different situations based on the following steps.
1) Cut off the main power of the cargo elevator machine room, and hang the
diagram of the under repair;
2) Check whether the conditions inside the cargo elevator machine room or the
overhaul platform is normal;
3) The machine room and overhaul platform must have adequate lighting, so as to
check the floor marks on the wire rope or steel strip and determine the parking
4) If the car stops at close to the hall, it shall be no more than 0.5m above or below
the floor:
(1) Open the landing door with a special key for landing door;
(2) Assist the porters to move the cargoes from the car;
(3) Close the landing door again.
5) If the car stops far away from the landing door, move the car to the nearest
landing door of the floor firstly, and assist the porters to move the debris
according the above steps, with the car moving methods as follows:
(1) In the machine room, use the barring wheel, move the car to the leveling
zone through manual barring, and then use the triangle key to manually
open the landing door.
(2) Assist the porters to move the cargoes from the car.
(3) Close the landing door again.
c) In case of other complex situations, wait for the elevator professionals to
2.6 Notes
a) The machine room keeping locked
Only the specified personnel can be allowed to get close to the mechanical and
control cabinet in the machine room, to prevent misuse through appropriate ways
(lockup, etc.). To deal with emergency situation, rescue and repair operation, the
specified personnel shall be able to get the key at any time. Ensure the safety path
to the machine room or mechanical area and the controller; timely report any
change or danger to the repair company.
b) Loading and unloading safety
According to the types of load and drive control, the car can be parked at
slightly lower or upper than the floor station surface. Attention must be paid to
prevention of debris tripping, especially making the cargoes move on the roller.
Dont use a wheel too small to make it stuck in the gap between the car and the
landing door, which may make the landing door damaged. The cargoes must be
evenly distributed on the floor of the elevator car and fixed, to avoid internal
movement in the process of moving. Compare the weight of the cargoes to be
transmitted, and check the maximum load capacity of your cargo elevator. Overload
may cause danger to the load (cargoes) and the elevator itself.
c) The elevator uses the preventive measures taken by partially closed shaft way
When the shaft way is partially closed, there must be a baffle or barrier to
prevent users from being hurt by equipment during the operation. These barriers or
baffles must be kept in good conditions in all circumstances, in accordance with
national regulations. If these barriers are made of glass, special attention shall be
paid to them. When there is a need to clean up this kind of glass, due to safety,
listen to advice from the repair company.
d) Matters need the intervention from executives
To ensure the full maintenance of the cargo elevator device, the elevator owner
has statutory responsibilities. Therefore, before the elevator is put into normal
operation, the repair company shall formulate the repair plan, which is extremely
The cargo elevator device must be limited to intended use. The ventilation
device shall be installed, to make the environment of the shaft way, machine room
and the control cabinet no more than the equipment operation
conditions/temperature (if there are no different specifications in the booklet,
generally between +5 and 40).
The cargo elevator documents must be stored in the appropriate place, to
ensure that the specified personnel in need can take free access. Under emergency
situations and repair work, ensure that the safety pathways required for buildings
and facilities are available. Measures (such as lockup) shall be taken to only allow
specified personnel to take access to the machine, preventing any in and out. At any
time, there is a need to ensure enough lighting in the machine room, machine area,
shaft way or the pathways. All the rooms, shaft way and compartments shall not be
used for other purposes (used for warehouse, wiring, etc.).
A qualified repair company must be entrusted to carry out the repair, to ensure
the safety of the complete device. General repair instructions can be found in
corresponding elevator documents in the manual. Permanently ensure that the cargo
elevator provides service for users. During the use, ensure that the communication
lines of the car are smooth for work. Conduct the inspection according to the local
regulations. If there are no regulations about this device, it shall be checked by the
qualified repair company.
As the cargo elevator stops using for a period of time, a qualified repair
company shall clean it up and lubricate it, replace the damaged parts, check the
safety parts, and then put it into normal operation.
As for any abnormal emergency found in the use of the elevator, it shall be
reported to the repair company. Otherwise, any change in the buildings and
facilities that may affect the cargo elevator shall be reported as well.
e) Reserved documents
All the preservation work of use and maintenance manual of the cargo
elevator, special personnel shall be arranged to be responsible for safekeeping the
f) Use of the emergency unlocking key
As for each landing door, the triangle key can be used to unlock from outside;
As for this type of key, it shall only be submitted to a person in charge of
management. In order to avoid that the key cannot be locked effectively again after
being unlocked so as to cause accidents, these keys shall be provided with detailed
instructions with important measures to be taken.
After the emergency unlocking, along with close of the landing door, locking
device shall not be kept in the unlocked position.
3 Instructions for repair and maintenance
3.1 Notes
a) Requirements for repair personnel
1) Familiar with the principle, structure, and the operation method of the elevator
with the use of the control system;
2) Familiar with the structures and action processes of the main parts, especially
familiar with the application method for the frequency conversion device;
3) Familiar with control program flow;
4) With skilled ability in fault judgment, analysis, and elimination;
5) With safe operation knowledge.
b) The elevator shall not be allowed to carry cargoes at repair, the main power switch
and the entrance hall at each layer shall be hanged with the billboard of under
repair, no switching-on (use).
c) At repair, a host shall be determined to be responsible for the command (usually
undertaken by personnel with high technology), and other coordinators must obey
the dispatch.
d) At repair, the elevator can only be placed in the overhaul state, and
corresponding switches shall be disconnected when the car does not need to run.
1) In the machine room, the main power switch shall be disconnected;
2) In the pit, the emergency stop switch of the pit box shall be disconnected.
e) It is strictly forbidden to seal safety circuit and the lock circuit with short-circuit
method for operation.
f) Before lifting the car with the manual barring wheel, cut off the main power
g) The lighting lamp adopts 36V safety lamp with shield.
h) It is strictly forbidden to lean towards the work in the car or at the car top outside
the landing door, work with one foot on the shaft way side or the car ground sill
and the other on any fulcrum in the shaft way, and work within the counterweight
operation scope, if work must be taken in the place, it shall be carried out on
condition that the special person is in charge of the car out-of-service switch.
i) During the repair, if the drive circuit wiring has been disconnected, ensure the
same sequence at the recovery, and take commissioning to observe whether the
traction machine turns correctly.
j) After the repair, all switches shall be restored to the original position, fill in the
repair records, for use of the elevator delivery acceptance.
3.2 Safety operating procedures
a) Before starting the normal use of the cargo elevator, the porters shall:
1) Before opening the landing door to enter to the car, note whether the car is
stopped at the layer;
2) Before beginning the work every day, operate the cargo elevator upward and
downward for several times, to see whether there is abnormal phenomenon;
3) The landing door shall not be opened by hand outside, and the elevator cannot
be started when the landing door and car door are not fully closed;
4) Note whether the leveling accuracy has significant changes;
5) Clean the dirt inside the car, and forbid water cleaning.
b) At normal operation, notes for porters:
1) After the handling, park the car in the base station, disconnect the power switch
inside the car, and close the landing door;
2) The car carrying capacity shall not exceed the rated load of the cargo elevator;
3) Inflammable, explosive and other dangerous cargoes are not allowed to deliver,
in special cases, they shall be approved by relevant departments, and safety
protection measures shall be taken;
4) Dont take the overhaul speed for normal operation under the condition that the
landing door and the semi-car door are open.
5) No materials shall be placed at the car top;
6) The load shall be securely mounted in the middle of the car, to avoid dumping
in operation;
c) When the cargo elevator has the following faults, press the alarm button for alarm,
and promptly notify the repair personnel;
1) After the landing door and the semi-car door are closed, fail to start the
2) There are significant changes in operating speed;
3) The travel direction is opposite to the command direction;
4) The leveling layer, speed switching, call and indicator layer signals fail to work
and out of control;
5) There are abnormal noises, large vibration and shock;
6) It surpasses the end station position and continues to run;
7) The malfunction of safety gears;
8) There is electrical stunning when contacting with any metal part;
9) The electrical components are overheated and emit scorching odor.
d) After the use of the cargo elevator, the porters shall park the car in the base
station, and disconnect all the switches on the operation panel, and close the
landing door.
e) As for the sudden stop or out of control during the elevator operation, promptly
notify the repair personnel, hold the traction machine by hand to make the car
enter the open door area, open the landing door by hand to assist the porters to
take the cargoes out.
3.3 Repair and maintenance of important parts
a) Traction machine
1) Traction sheave
a) Keep the traction rope groove clean, and it is not allowed to add
lubrication oil to the rope groove;
b) When the wear degrees of rope grooves are inconsistent, they shall be
replaced timely when the maximum gap has reached more than 1/10 of the
traction wire rope diameter or serious unevenness affects the use;
c) When the gap between the traction rope and rope groove bottom is less
than or equal to 1mm, or the depth of semi-circle groove rope wear with
incisions towards the incision is less than 2mm, it shall be loaded or
replaced. The thickness of wheel flange below the loaded rope wheel rear
incision shall be no less than the traction rope diameter.
2) Motor
a) Always keep the electric motor clean and cooling fan work normally;
b) The insulation of the motor shall conform to the requirements;
c) The sound of the motor shall be normal.
b) Brake
1) The action shall be flexible and reliable. Lubricate the pins often and keep the
working surface of brake shoes and brake drums clean, which shall not be
splashed with oil stains.
2) At braking, the brake shoes on both sides shall fit with the working surface of
brake drums closely and evenly. At brake-releasing, the brake shoes on both
sides shall leave the brake drums working surface at the same time. The gap
between them shall be no greater than 0.7mm, and when the gap is too large, it
need appropriate adjustment.
3) The brake band shall have no greasy dirt. The fastener rivets shall be buried in
braking band to prevent the contact with the brake drums. It can make
appropriate adjustment when braking band wear results in the abnormal braking
with noises. If the wear is so serious that the rivets expose out of the surface of
brake band, or the wear amount is more than 1/4 of the brake bands thickness,
the brake band shall be replaced.
4) There shall be no loose in the wiring of the electromagnetic coils, with good
insulation. Temperature rise shall be no more than 80.
c) Overspeed governor
1) With flexible and reliable action, the rotating part shall be oiled for once a
month, with cleaning and oil change for once a year (the overspeed governor
has been adjusted before the delivery, and has been sealed, and the use units
shall not disconnect it for adjustment arbitrarily);
2) The tension of the tensioning device shall be consistent, with flexible rotation,
and the rope sheave and guide device shall be oiled weekly, with cleaning and
oil change for once year;
3) Always check the rope clamping jaw, and remove foreign bodies, to ensure
reliable action. When the overspeed governor rope extension exceeds the
prescribed scope and cuts the control circuit, it shall be truncated.
d) Safety gear
1) The action is sensitive and reliable, and the rotating rod part shall be checked
weekly, to ensure that it is flexible without blocking phenomenon, and the pull
force and lifting height conform to the requirements;
2) Oil the rotating part for once monthly, the gap between the wedge and the guide
rail working surface shall be equal at 2~3mm, with flexible and reliable action,
coated with vaseline for anti rust and lubrication.
e) Semi-car door, landing door and elevator car
1) If the hanger rollers of the semi-car door and landing door wear, causing the
opening and closing doors difficult or even cannot work normally, they shall be

of grease, making the door nimble and flexible, under smooth operation, if the
door slider wear affects the use, it shall be replaced timely;
3) Weekly inspection
a) Ensure that the action of each safety switch of the door opening and
closing mechanism is accurate;
b) Safety contact pad acts flexibly and reliably, and the collision force shall
be less than 5N;
c) The locking hook, locking arm and movable contacts of the landing door
locks act flexibly, with the dynamic and static contacts in alignment,
meshing for at least 7mm, to prevent the emergence of virtual connection
and adhesion phenomena;
d) If the landing door linkage traction device is loose, adjust it timely for

a) As for the semi-car door safety switch, ensure that the elevator shall not be
started when the semi-car door is not closed tightly;
b) The landing door at each layer: Dont open the door by hand outside the
landing door (except for triangular keys);
c) As for the rope head plate overload and full-load switch, ensure the
accurate action.
5) Quarterly inspection
a) As for landing door mechanism, the manual switch action shall be flexible
and reliable;
b) Check whether the car wall is loose.
f) Traction wire rope
1) Check and adjust the rope head combined nut weekly, to make the traction rope
tension uniform;
2) When the traction wire rope wear reaches the provisions in Table 1, it shall be
replaced by a new one;

Note 1. If the percentage of the wire surface wear or corrosion part over the diameter is zero, but the
number of broken wires has reaches the numbers in corresponding columns of the table, the wire
rope shall be replaced;
Note 2. If the percentage of the wire surface wear or corrosion part over the diameter reaches 30%,
the wire rope shall be replaced even if there are no broken wires;
Note 3. If the percentage of the wire surface wear or corrosion part over the diameter has been
reached, the wire rope shall not be replaced as the corresponding number of broken wires has not
been reached;
Note 4. If the wire rope has broken strands, it shall be replaced.
3) When the traction wire rope stretches overly, it shall be truncated. When the
traction wire rope has dirt or sand and other foreign bodies on the surface, it
shall be wiped up promptly with kerosene.
g) Guide rail and guide shoe
1) The car guide rails and counterweight rails shall maintain good lubrication,
check the oil level of the oil box at the automatic lubricating device monthly,
and refill it timely;
2) When the working surface of guide rails are damaged due to the safety gear
work, or there are pits, burrs, scratches and others found on it, it shall be
polished smooth timely;
3) When the guide shoe liner wears 1mm at work, it shall be replaced. If the liner
wears seriously within a month, it shall be checked at shutdown, and takes
operation after the repair;
4) Carefully check the connection bolts of the guide rail connection plate and the
guide rail frame annually, retighten all the fastening bolts, and re-calibrate the
size and verticality of the guide rail end face.
h) Compensation chain (optional)
1) When the compensation chain generates large noises during the operation,
check and smear the erasure oil.
i) Electrical equipment
1) The safety contact switches of the cargo elevator electrical safety devices shall
be flexible and reliable, check them for once monthly, wipe the surface dirt,
verify the contact reliability of contacts, trim the ones under ablation smoothly,
and replace them if serious;
2) The limit switch shall be sensitive and reliable, and an overrun test shall be
taken every ten days, relying on whether it can be reliably disconnected;
3) Control cabinet;
a) Check whether the indicator lights on the microcomputer panel work
b) Check whether the cabinet wiring is reliable and the relay works normally,
with focus on the reliability of the brake contactor and door lock relay
contacts, and replace the contacts with flame fusion.
c) Clean the control cabinet well.
d) Emergency rescue device
(1) Conduct charge and discharge of the battery for once every six
months, and check whether the emergency rescue works normally:
Operate the cargo elevator to the middle floor and then out of the
leveling-in zone, turn off the main power switch, press the
emergency manual brake-releasing button and the auxiliary brake-
releasing button, and operate the elevator to the leveling device
with the manual emergency evacuation device.
(2) The battery generally has 3 years of service life at emergency
4) Frequency conversion device (optional)
a) The power supply must be off (OFF);
Pay attention to the maintenance and inspection;
After the power is off, the capacitor will discharge power still, and the
operation can be started after the converter control panel light is off;
b) Daily inspection
Note whether the frequency conversion device has abnormal sound,
smell and breakage, if abnormal, the place and degree shall be
determined. Frequently clear the dust and foreign bodies on the control
cabinet and at the vent, to maintain the normal operation of the
frequency conversion device.
c) Regular repair
The service life of frequency conversion devices varies due to different
environment and the time. As for continuous use within the permitted
scope, the electrolytic capacitor shall be replaced for every 5 years
generally, and the cooling fan shall be replaced for every 3 years.

Installation method:
1. When the elevator starts up, electromagnetism valve sucks to make the limit cam
vertical. Then limit cam surface contacts with the balls of door lock
2. Measure the installation size of lock, the residual locks can be installed based on this
size directly
3. Startup elevator and commission it.
Judgment points: if the lock installed correctly shall base on the following standards:
1. Elevator can stop in leveling in normal operation;
2. The elevator can be started up normally after leveling.
Regulation method: please refer to the electrical principle diagram for mechanical
regulation and electrical part.
1. If elevator does not open at the leveling, it means the lock switch is turned off and
the distance between the impact ball and elevator cam. So the door ball location
shall be commissioned at that time.
2. When elevator stops in leveling, the landing door does not open, it means the door
ball is too away from the elevator cam.
3. When elevator operates normally, but the electromagnet does not attract at some
level while attract in other levels, it means that there is something wrong with the
circuit and your door loop is not closed.

1. General rules
This instruction is applicable to the TWJ cargo elevator, excluding construction lifter and all
jacking equipment in mine.
1.0 General rules
1.1 The installation and commissioning standards shall be consistent with relevant
regulations of JG135-2000 Cargo elevator.
1.2 To ensure safety of elevator installation and commissioning as well as elevator operation
quality and performance, it shall be consistent with the following requirements:
1.2.1 The personnel in charge of elevator installation and commissioning shall be trained
professionally, familiar with elevator structure and main part functions, relevant standard
knowledge of elevator and pass the examination and issued with the certificate by relevant
department. The technician in charge of electrical installation and commissioning shall be trained
with technician technology, be familiar with electrical operation, pass examination and issued
with qualified certificate by supervision authorities.
1.2.2 Read and master the general standard of product and technological standards of
installation, electrical principle and relevant technical materials, etc. before installation and

1.4 Installation and commissioning standards of main parts of elevator
1.4.1 Please refer to the General Standard Process of Elevator Installation for the procedure
of elevator installation and the installation and commissioning standards of each part.
2. Preparation before elevator commissioning
2.1.1 Electrical wiring in machine room, shaft way, car, etc. shall be accomplished.
2.1.2 Each mechanical part, especially mechanical safety part shall be installed completely.
2.1.3 Illumination and dynamic power and wiring shall be prepared.
2.1.4 Drawings and grounding wires needed in the commissioning shall be prepared.
2.1.5 Electrician tools such as multimeter, ampere meter, etc. needed in the commissioning
shall be prepared.
2.1.6 Check and clean all the installed parts thoroughly. Sweep and scrub all electrical
mechanical devices to keep them clean.
2.1.7 Check the injected lubricant. Check if the lubricating part clean and keep sufficient
lubricant. Oil level height shall base on oil level indication line.
3. Commissioning steps of elevator
3.1 Focus on inspections before power supply when preparation work is accomplished and
before closing the major power switch.
3.1.1 Check if wiring between each electrical and mechanical part in machine room correct.
3.1.2 Check if wiring from control panel in machine room and each part of car to each floor
of shaft way correct.
3.1.3 Check if wiring from control cabinet to operation cabinet correct.
3.1.4 Check if each wiring terminal in control panel loose and check if each relay and wiring
of contactor loose. Tighten the unwired thumbscrew.
3.2 Traction machine operates with no-load after being charged with power
3.2.1 Check phase after being charged with power without pushing the traction wire.
a. Check if the direction contactor consistent with the rotation direction of traction sheave.
b. Check if traction machine operates forwards and backwards normally, for example, if
there is noise in decelerator, if there is abnormal noise, heating, axial drifting, radial run out, etc.
in the bearing or if they are consistent with requirements.
c. Brake clearance regulation. The clearance shall not be bigger than 0.7mm.
3.3 Traction wire rope
3.3.1 The car shall be lifted with manual-operated hoist (rated weight of hoist shall be bigger
than the car weight). When traction wire rope connects the car with counterweight and then the
shaft way scaffold can be removed.
3.4 Trial operation
3.4.1 Check and verify if the size between relevant parts consistent with the one regulated in
the installation and layout drawings with the maintenance speed one floor by one floor; if it is,
the person with rich installation experience shall check if the installed parts in shaft way
impacting with each other on car roof and operate the elevator upwards and downwards slowly
for twice and then check and verify the items listed as follows one floor by one floor:
a. Clearance of elevator hall door in each floor shall meet the appointed value regulated in
civil engineering plane.
b. Each safety protective switch shall be reliable.
3.5 Install and regulate the safety protective switch.
3.5.1 The safety protective switch shall be regulated in accordance with regulations in
General Standard Process of Elevator Installation.
3.5.2 The limit switch and other action sizes on terminal station shall be regulated in
accordance with the requirements listed in the following table:

3.5.3 Regulate and check doors in each floor. The elevator shall not operate if there is any
door in any floor is not closed or closed tightly. Check if the lock reliable.
3.6 Commissioning of control signal
3.6.1 Electrical control program shall be consistent with requirements of electrical principle
a. Check if each command in each floor valid;
b. Check if power switch functional;
c. Check if indications of each floor correct.
d. Check if buttons of each floor and the stop switch valid. (Pay attention to the safety of
vice-contact connected with AC220V)
3.7 Installation of floor operation cabinet
3.7.1 The operation cabinet is set up beside the station hall of each floor of the cargo
elevator. It shall be kept vertical during installation and wired based on electrical principle
drawings. Pay attention to the positive pole and negative pole displayed on the panel.
3.8 Traction machine:
3.8.1 When each rope score is abraded and sunken differently to be 1/10 diameter of traction
rope away or be sunken seriously to further affect the application, the rope score shall be
repaired or the sheave shall be replaced.
3.8.2 Oil volume in decelerator shall be kept within the oil level scope appointed in oil
figure or oil window when environmental temperature is in -5C~+40C
3.8.3 The brake shall work flexibly and reliably. The pivot shall be lubricated with engineer
oil. During the braking, the elevator gates on both sides shall be closely tightened to the working
surface of brake sheaves. During the gate lifting, the elevator gates on both sides shall leave
braking sheaves surfaces at the same time and the clearance shall not be bigger than 0.7mm.
3.9 Guide rail and shoe guide
3.9.1 The guide rail shall be painted or injected with lubricating oil every week. It is referred
to use lubricating oil appointed in Table 1.

3.9.2 The shoe guide shall be replaced when clearance between guide rail roof and shoe
guide roof exceeds 6mm.
3.9.3 When guide rail operation surface is damaged or coarse due to safety gear braking, it
shall be polished in time.
3.10 Overspeed governor: (set up when load is more than 250kg)
If overspeed governor is requested to configure based on users need, it shall ensure the
action is flexible and reliable. The rotatory pin shall be refueled once every week and cleaned
once every year.
3.11 Safety gear: (set up when load is more than 250kg)
3.11.1 Check rotatory rod regularly and it shall be flexible without being stuck. refuel
mechanical oil to lubricate the rotatory part every month.
3.11.2 Safety linkage switch which is non-reset shall be reliable. The control circuit shall be
cut off to force the elevator to stop when the safety gear works.
3.12 Electrical equipment
3.12.1 Safety protective switch shall be flexible, reliable and checked once monthly.
3.12.2 The space switch and limit switch shall be sensitive and reliable and there shall be
some residual for the collision bow after it is pressed.
3.12.3 Control panel is DC 110V, AC 220V and three-phase AC 380V main circuit. It shall
be distinguished during the maintenance in case of short circuit or damaging electrical
3.12.4 When replacing the fuse, the fusing current and this loop shall be matched. The rated
current of common control circuit fuse shall be consistent with the one of the power of this loop.
The rated current of motor loop fuse shall be 2.5~3 times of the one of this motor.
3.12.5 When there is any fault in electrical control system, it shall be found out and
eliminated in different phases based on the electrical principle drawings.
3.13 Elevator maintenance
3.13.1 Install maintenance switch and upward and downward maintenance operation buttons
on the control panel. When it needs to be maintained, pull the switch to the maintenance position
when automatic operation link is invalid. Elevator operation relies on maintenance button. To
meet the maintenance demand, the elevator can stop at any position in the shaft way when the
elevator is in Inching status.
3.13.2 If the elevator does not operate when operate the upward or downward button, check
input status of microcomputer or check safety loop. If the closing indicator on panel does not
light, it can be confirmed that the door of the car or the one of some floor does not closed
causing door interlocking switch does not work and causing abnormal operation. It shall be
inspected and eliminated one floor by one floor. On the contrary, the fault is caused by other
mechanical or electrical fault, which shall be inspected and eliminated carefully.
3.14 Fast operation of elevator
3.14.1 In the machine room, switch the elevator to automatic operation when it is operated to
the middle floor slowly. Open odd number command in control cabinet, the elevator will only
run at the singular floor. Observe elevator operation, Leveling signal and traction machine, etc.
to see if it can stop at leveling or shuts down normally. If not, regulate it.
3.14.2 After the elevator operates at the singular floor normally, give even number command
to let the elevator run the even number floors. Observe elevator operation, leveling signal,
traction machine, etc. to see if it starts, stops at the leveling or shuts down normally. If not,
please regulate it. Then make the elevator operate in the shaft way at a full journey. Measure if
the operation time is sufficient.
3.14.3 Pay attention to speed feedback to check and confirm the elevator can operation
based on the speed regulated in the contract.
3.14.4 If the elevator runs normally in the top or bottom floors, then check the operational
range of the upper limit switch, lower limit switch, and marginal switch to ensure meeting its
safety standard. (e.g.: frequency conversion. Check the upper/lower reducer switch to guarantee
meeting its standard first, then allow the elevator to shoot upstairs or downstairs and observe the
elevator when reaching top/bottom floor to check whether it shall hit ceiling or touch ground. If
it did, adjust the operational range of the up/down slowdown switch.)
3.15 Test of landing operation board
3.15.1 There is an operation board by the side of the landing door every floor in cargo
elevator. Users shall find the corresponding stop buttons for each landing. When the delivery
staffs open a landing door, finish loading their goods and close the door, you can see the word
"close" over the operation board, indicating that the door is well closed. Push the button of your
target landing, the elevator shall shoot toward the registered landing, stop upon arrival and send
out an unloading signal so that delivery staffs shall open the landing door and the word Close
shall disappear at that time. After finishing unloading and closing the landing door, the cargo
elevator shall be in an unoccupied status and ready for running anytime. In that case, the elevator
shall reach the landing and get the goods if receiving an instruction from any landing. Check the
operation board, especially the stop button to see if it works well.
3.16 Regulate balanced coefficient. Input balanced load (42~50% rated load) in car. Clip the
traction machine input wire with one clamp ampere meter and measure current values of upward
operation and downward operation of the elevator. Record the current when the car and
counterweight runs into each other. If the elevator is in overbalanced status, the record current
values of upward operation and downward operation of the elevator shall be equal (the difference
shall not exceed 1A.). Otherwise, add or reduce counterweight iron on the counterweight support
until the elevator is in overbalanced status. Fix the weight in counterweight support.
3.17 Start up and deceleration commissioning shall be regulated based on electrical control
principle to make the elevator start up smoothly and brake in balance without clear vibration.
3.18 Regulate the leveling accuracy
Each floor is installed with a leveling switch. The magnet vane is on car roof. After the
position is regulated and car operates upwards with no-load and stops at each floor, regulate the
elevator door a little higher than the leveling ground and regulate it a little lower than the
leveling ground when car operates upwards with load to make the two values similar. In the same
way, the values that the elevator stops higher or lower than the floor ground shall be similar
when car operates downwards with no-load or load.
3.19 Loading trial operation
3.19.1 When the cargo elevator is loaded with cargo, it shall absolutely not exceed the rated
load; otherwise there will be sliding, rushing or sedimentation causing damage to the equipment
and cargo.
3.19.2 Generally, there is no elevator door set up in the cargo elevator, so the loaded cargo
shall be piled firmly and tidily in case of sliding or causing accident or danger due to the sliding
cargo in car impacting with landing door device and bracket and to further affect normal
operation seriously.
3.19.3 It is not allowed to load flammable, explosive cargo with strong corrosion (except the
specially designed one) in the common designed car. If there is any special circumstance, it shall
get approval from the relevant departments and take safety measures.
4. Notes during commissioning
4.1 Stop for maintenance shall be hung on the door of each floor during the elevator
4.2 Turn off the switch on corresponding location when car operation maintenance is not
needed and turn off the general power switch when in machine room;
4.3 Notes during the operation. If any of the following abnormal conditions occurs, the
power shall be disconnected and maintainer shall be informed in time.
4.3.1 The elevator operates against the command direction;
4.3.2 There is any abnormal noise, bigger vibration and impact;
4.3.3 The elevator keeps operating after passing the terminal location;
4.3.4 There is electrical stunning when contacting with any metal part;
4.3.5 The electrical components are overheated and emit scorching odor.
