All praise and gratitude writer prayed to Allah the Almighty God who has given His grace and
guidance. So authors do not experience barriers to the completion of a paper entitled "Virtual
Laser Keyboard". In this occasion, in the writing of this paper the authors get a lot of support
from various parties, therefore, the authors also wish to thanks a lot for:
1. Our parents, that always giving us good support to the support in the form of moral and
material support.
2. Dr. Aries Subiantoro, ST.,M.Sc.as Director of CCIT-Faculty of Engineering, University
of Indonesia
3. Mr.hamzahSyaifulhaq our Lecture Course that has a lot to provide guidance, direction
and inputs in the manufacture of this paper as well as in other fields.
4. Friends in arms that also specifies the motivation is always in the form of exchange of
ideas, encouragement and other things in order to manufacture this paper.
5. Others Peoples who take holders who also helped in making this paper.
The authors recognize that this study is far from perfect and there are still many shortcomings,
therefore the authors expect criticism and constructive suggestions to the perfection of this
writing. Hopefully, this task can be useful and beneficial to readers and other researchers,
especially students of CCIT-Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia and others who read
this paper.

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
I.1 Background
Currently the technology has been developing very rapidly, as well as the
development of information technology and komputer.Terutama in countries - developed
countries, the technology has a very important role in people's lives there.
As if - it would be almost all aspects of the activities, not separated from the name of technology.
Similarly, for developing countries, especially Indonesia, emerging technologies and become a
magnet for the public is the computer.
One example, which is closest to us is how the development of the keyboard itself. Indeed, the
arrangement of the letters are not
But unlike the physical form, which continues to be developed and designed in a way that is
more practical and more attractive. Keyboards are generally rectangular encountered at this time
had begun to develop flexible keyboard up by a sensor hologram.

2. CMOS (Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
Is the finger motion capture infrared light that passes through the projection area VKB
with CMOS sensor.

3. Virtual Interface Processing Core
Is a special chip that analyzes the user's finger movements that caught VKB.
Then the way it works is:
1. The laser beam will display the keyboard in accordance with the form of the refracted
surface level.
2. Bias infrared transparent will be projected into a virtual keyboard.
3.Typing generated through the finger, will lead to key-stroke.
The emphasis by the finger is why the meeting between the emission and infrared rays
simultaneously, which produces a direct reflection to the projector.
4.Reflection infra infra red filter will pass through to the camera.
5.The camera then take a picture in accordance with the capture of infrared.
6.Chip of the sensor will be adjusted the infrared beam is broken, then translate the
coordinates.
7.Characters created will appear on the screen, using the coordinates received wirelessly
or wirelessly.

Each time you press the button, a switch below the key will be closed, and sends a small
electrical current through the grid, which will be arrested in and analyzed by processor (on the
keyboard). Furthermore, the processor sends information to a computer editorial. That's how the
regular keyboard. When you type on a VKB, no switch is involved. Because, in fact, there are no
elements that move at all. VKB projecting images QWERTY keyboard on a flat surface
(yangtidak reflect light) using reddiodelaser.
IV.1 Conclusion
Based on the above discussion it can be concluded bahwaVirtual this Keyboard
have advantages and disadvantages of each, this keyboard suitable for in use for people who
travel a lot. However this keyboard the price is very expensive so it is less so in the interest.
IV.2 Suggestion
People, try to start a virtual keyboard technology, because with seinring the times,
the virtual keyboard is easier to use than a regular keyboard, although the price is expensive,
with over time will become a technological revolution on how typing than using a regular
keyboard,
