***************************** NEWS RELEASES NASA TV COVERAGE OF PROGRESS DOCKING TO ISS SET FOR AUG. 8 NASA Television will provide live coverage of and commentary on the Progress supply vehicle's docking to the International Space Station beginning at 4 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, Aug. 8. Docking currently is targeted for 4:14 p.m. EDT. The black-and-white camera on the Progress should be activated a few minutes prior to the linkup, showing the ISS as the cargo vehicle approaches. The module is scheduled for launch at 2:26 p.m. EDT Sunday, Aug. 6, atop a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The launch will not be televised. Following two days of rendezvous maneuvers, the vehicle will automatically dock to the newest station component, the Zvezda service module.
