Seldin Winter Weather Gear Allowance Policy

Seldin will provide each Service Tech, Lead Service Tech, and Grounds and Make Ready Tech with a $75
reimbursement to be used either towards winter weather overalls or winter work boots.
In order to qualify:
All gear must be purchased by February 1st 2018.
The gear must be for the exclusive use of the associate only. Sizes may be verified before
reimbursement is issued.
You must provide a clear itemized copy of the receipt of purchase for the item and obtain your
supervisors signature of approval on your expense reimbursement form.
Sign a copy of this policy and include with your expense reimbursement form.
If you terminate employment before April 1st, 2018 any money reimbursed for winter weather gear
outlined in this policy will need to be refunded by the employee via payroll deduction
Reimbursement Process
1. Purchase either a pair of work boots suitable for snow removal or a pair of insulated overalls suited
for snow removal.
2. Retain an itemized receipt of purchase for your item.
3. Present receipt, along with item and a signed copy of this policy to your manager for approval. List
on expense reimbursement form under miscellaneous.
4. Have your manager sign off on your expense reimbursement form
a. Submit expense form through OPS/ResMan/Nexus Payables for processing
b. Submit signed copy of this policy to leahb@seldin.com
5. Receive up to $75 for reimbursement for one of these items.
6. In lieu of purchasing your own gear and getting reimbursed, you can order winter apparel through
the Apparel Program. Contact Tonya Simons to place your order for Seldin Apparel
tonyas@seldin.com.
From date of purchase through April 1st, 2018, the winter weather gear purchased through this program is
the property of Seldin Organization. Upon separation from the company during this time frame, the
associate will incur a payroll deduction of up to $75.00 for these goods. If you opt for the Seldin Apparel,
the item must be returned on or before your last day of employment.

______ I will order a Seldin work jacket, rain gear, or fleece lined jacket.

EMPLOYEE AUTHORIZATION: I, acknowledge this company policy, along with the


value of the aforementioned winter weather gear. Where permitted by applicable laws, The Seldin
Organization may withhold from any paycheck, including the final paycheck, the reimbursement amount of
these winter weather gear items between todays date and April 1, 2018. Seldin Organization may also take
all action deemed appropriate to recover or protect its property.
