Project Title: Job Portal

Project Definition:The online job portal application allows job seekers and recruiters to connect.

The application provides the ability for job seekers to create their accounts, upload their profile
and resume, search for jobs, apply for jobs, view different job openings.
The application provides the ability for employers to create their accounts, select a package for
payment, search candidates, create job postings, and track contacted candidates.
The application will have 3 primary users:

1) Job seeker
2) Employer and
3) Admin

The system admin will have the ability to clean and clear and maintain database.
Administrator

1) Verify users account give them right to access the right

3) Create Categories on job.
4) Create Subcategories on the type of job

Employers

1) Create vacancies for jobseekers


2) Search candidates based on their profiles
3) Can schedule an interview with technical professionals
4) Can select interviewers
5) Can send email to selected candidates

Jobseekers
1)Create an account with a complete profile
2)Search for jobs with different categories
3) Edit/update there profile
4) Apply online for jobs

Introduction

It is effective combination of job site and job search engine, which helps to collect information

and datas about all employers regarding their jobs, which will be facilitated for job seekers,

when they register themselves for jobs.

Sharpya.com has three phases:

Employers: Who provides jobs (Companies)

Job Seekers: Who apply for the jobs

Administrator: The Hosting Company

Employers:

In Employers mode, vacancies of your company will be published, but before using this part

employer must sign the agreement with concern company and they have pay a little amount

for publishing their jobs on etimes.com

Job Seekers:
Job seeker is a person, who is in search of a job. He can able to search jobs and create and
upload multiple resumes, apply for jobs online. A jobseeker has the right to signup.
Administrator:
An administrator is a person who has complete access on that particular job site. He is
responsible for managing all the employers account activities

Login Module
User easily login with their username and password.
Forgot password:
User can receive mail for forgot password.
Change password:
User can change their password.

It shows details job details, locations and employer profiles.
Search Agent
Search the job profile from the database, according to jobseeker requiments.
Upload resume
User can create and upload their resume.
User profile
User can enter his information into that page and later can be edited according to
user’s need.

Enter any keyword and search the jobs very easily and very quickly.

Search jobs by enters keyword, experience, location, functional area.

Search jobs by category like IT, Marketing etc…

Search job by registered companies.

User can search job according to preferred location

Employer’s Phase:
Registration Module

User enters their account information, company details, and primary contact
details.

User can easily select the job mail alert and news letter alert during the
registration itself.

Activation emails send it to the user after registration
Login Module

User easily login with their username and password.
Forget Password Module details.

User receive mail for forget password.
Employer profile:

Contains employer profile and employer can edit there profile according to their
need, along with employer can play the following roles:

Find Candidate

Find the job seekers who are apply for the posting jobs.

View their responses.

Recruiter can send email to the job seekers.

Recruiters create the common mail message before sending the email.

Recruiter can download the job seekers resume who are all apply for the job.

Resume access

Recruiters are searching the application of the user.

Enter the detail about job position, functional area, industry type, keyword,
experience, qualification, location, country, and order by date.

If the employer or recruiter was not order any package it shows the buy package
link

After the employers or recruiters are buying the package then only they can
search the job seeker resumes.
Posted jobs

Posted jobs are listed.

The employer can edit the jobs.

Delete jobs.

View jobs.
Administrator

He is the one who can control employers and job seeker information.

Check the validity of employers account.

Delete unwanted informations.

Thought is job site + search engine I accept it will be a successful project for our organization,

because we have a potential market for job seekers in India as well in Kerala.

Because of globalization and liberalization many foreign companies has come done to for

setting up their braches and outlets.

Terms and conditions

All monetary figures are approximately calculated on the basis of assumptions. I have taken

nakuri.com and monster.com as an example for comparing the monetary figures. On the basis

of that figures I calculated an assumption monetary figures.
