1. Listen, articulate and identify the phonemes /kw/(qu)
2. listen to and recite rhymes, sing songs and chant with correct
pronunciation, word stress and intonation
3. Identify the words with phoneme /kw/(qu) at least 4 words.
SUCCESS CRITERIA Pupils can recognise the words with phonemes /kw/(qu) and use
them in their routine.
Activities
Set Induction 1. Show the letter q and u and ask pupils to say it.
Teacher shows a video of phonic /qu/ in YouTube (optional)

Get the pupils attention to the phonemes /kw/(qu)
Qu : Flap both arms like a duck and say the qu sound in quack.
