STEPHEN LEACOCK SCHOOL – Last week we heard of the closure of Stephen

Leacock School due to the amount of rain we received. At the time I contacted city
staff to investigate the issue and it was determined that there were no issues with
the city’s drainage or sewer systems. The city was working with the school to help
them with any assistance they required to get the school opened as quickly as
possible.

appreciate the work they have and are still doing. This is a great ceremony to bring
children to it will help them understand the sacrifice these people have made for to
their country. On behalf of myself and my staff to all Veterans and active Military
personnel THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.
