THREE POPULAR Indian bread : Paratha, Thepla, Kulcha

Mooli paratha (White Raddish paratha)

Ingredients: Grated radish, coriander, salt, jeera powder, ajwain, turmeric, chilly powder, ginger, green
chilly, amchur

Method:

Mix
Knead into a dough
Portion into small balls
Roll out into circular parathas
Fry

Thepla

Ingredients: Whet flour, chopped methi leaves, ginger garlic, turmeric, curds, ajwain, sugar, chilly
powerlittle oil

Method: (same as above)

Kulcha

Ingredients: Wheat flour (3 cups), 1 tblsp sugar, 1 tsp ghee, tsp baking powd, tsp soda bicarb,
coriander (finely chopped, garlic (finely chopped)

Method:

Mix all dry ingredients


Add curds (1cup), mix.put little water
Allow to rest (covered) for 1- 2 hrs
Make kulchas (slightly thicker than chaps).put little oil.(can stud one side with chopped garlic,
ajwain, coriander)
Place Kulcha on a pan (or a wire mesh ). Allow to fry on stove on 1 side..then
Place the other side directly over flame on the stove
