1. Electricity is the form of power most used in modern society. Today life without electricity is almost impossible. Modern life has become so modern and so mechanical that for all things in daily life we need electricity. Electricity is all around uspowering technology like our cell phones, computers, lights, soldering irons, and air conditioners. Its tough to escape it in our modern world. 2. The invention of the motor car about a century ago brought about a social revolution among a large proportion of population. Since the 20th century, the role of the car has become highly important. It is used throughout the world and has become the most popular mode of transport in the more developed countries. In developing countries, the effects of the car on society are not as visible, however they are significant. The development of the car built upon the transport revolution first started by railways. This has introduced sweeping changes in employment patterns, social interactions, infrastructure and the distribution of goods. 3. Almost all of world religions are found in Indonesia. Indonesian law requires that every Indonesian citizen hold an identity card that identifies that person with one of these six religions. Indonesia does not recognise agnosticism or atheism, and blasphemy is illegal. 4. Chemical engineering is one of the studies on the use of chemistry in industry. A chemical engineer designs large-scale processes that convert chemicals, raw materials, living cells, microorganisms and energy into useful forms and products. Chemical engineers conceive and design processes to produce, transform and transport materials beginning with experimentation in the laboratory and followed by implementation of technologies in full-scale production. 5. Chemical engineers are in great demand because of the large number of industries that depend on the synthesis and processing of chemicals and materials. In addition to traditional careers in the chemical, energy and oil industries, chemical engineers enjoy increasing opportunities in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, electronic device fabrication and environmental engineering. The unique training of the chemical engineer becomes essential in these areas when processes involve the chemical or physical transformation of matter.
