Subject : Academic Appeal Letter For Absentees During Lecture

Dear Dr Nur Ismarubbie Binti Zahari,

With reference to the above matter, I was notified to be blacklisted from sitting for the final exam for
the course Strength of Materials 2 (EMM3408). I understand this is due to my poor attendance's
performance from which I was unable to attend your lecture for a couple of times in this semester.

I admit that it is a felon for me having not to attend your lecture without notice hence, I would like to
appeal the reason for one of my absentees. One of the reason that I was absent is due to the flu that I
was facing on that particular day. I was unable to get up due to my dizziness and weakness. Due to
my sudden medical condition, I could not go to the health centre and appeal for a medical leave from
the doctor.

I would like to apologise for my sudden absentee without any further notice that may have caused any
inconvenience to you. I would also like to emphasize on my indefinite focus and efforts on passing
this course. Therefore, I kindly request for you to please consider my appeal.
