Book club
The White Giraffe by Lauren St John This is a book about 11-year-old Martine moving to South Africa. Her journeys are full of thrilling adventure. She’s even got to join a new school but all she can think of is the young white giraffe she’s just discovered. It was a really emotional, spellbinding novel and I look forward to reading the other three books in the series. Review by Teilo Evans, age 12.
