V05 is a hair care product started in 1955 by a


hairdresser who did all the big time stars hair. She
wanted to create something that was very
moisturizing and would help these leading ladies
deal with the harsh conditions that came from all the
chemicals that were used in their hair at the time.
Soon after, V05 became a product open to the pub-
lic and used by many. The target audience for the
product has always been middle aged women. V05
has always been affordable, so a lower class seems
to be the demographic.

V05's design has slightly changed over time. As


V05 has gotten older its design has aged also. To a
younger demographic V05 looks like something an
old women would use. But in reality they are missing
out on a great product that is also the cheapest on
the market. It would go flying of the shelves if it had
more of a modern look to it. It needs a facelift and
with that facelift the younger crowd would come.
Advertising could focus on social media where most
of the younger crowd is. With a new design they
could make the shampoo look fun. Anotheirng thing
that would amp up sales could be a young celebrity
to be the face of it. There are so many new
advertising methods that could be used with the
new look. With a moden look V05 would not only be
for the older generation, but for the new generation.

When coming up with a new logo I knew I wanted


something that would make you think of mosturizing.
What makes you think of mosturizing than the ocean
and a life vest to go along with it!

Logo printed should be no less than 3 inches by 3


inches. Logo web should be 100 pixels by 100 pixels.
Logo should either be on the top centered, centered
in the middle, or the bottom centered.
