! # 6 p.m. The last walk begins at 8:30 p.m., with walks every half-hour (six walks per night). Admission is

The walk takes you back in time and tells the story of the Birth of our Savior. Walk to the home of
Mary, follow Mary to Elizabeths home, walk into the carpenter shop of Joseph, travel to the Inn, visit
with the shepherds and listen as the Angels announce the Birth of Jesus, and travel with the shepherds to
the stable.
After the walk, stay warm by the fire and enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies, and fellowship.

The Milton-Union Community Chest is accepting donations for its
fall campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to assist organizations

LEGO CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
Love Legos and want to be a part of BPLs annual Christmas scene?
The library invites all Lego lovers and aficionados to help build our Lego
Christmas Village and Santa Claus Town. A new project is being added
this year. All Legos will be provided. Come in anytime between 10:30 and
4:30 Friday, Nov. 24, and Saturday, Nov. 25 from 10 til 12:30. The second

Public Library will take place Saturday, Nov. 25. The evening will begin December 3
at 6 p.m. with the dedication of the librarys new digital sign, from dona-
tions by internationally known author and Bradford resident, John Scalzi, at

Holiday Home Decorating Contest


Announced in Village of Covington
Be a part of the inaugural 2017 Covington Holiday Home Decorating Contest! The contest, sponsored
by the Village of Covington along with the Covington Chamber of Commerce, encourages community
pride by decorating in the spirit of the holiday. Residents who have gone above and beyond in decorating
their residence in an exceptional, creative approach, will be recognized for their hard work during the Vil-
lage Council meeting on Monday, Dec. 18.
The contest is open to all residents within the Village of Covington who have completed an entry form
by the 12th day of Christmas December 12 at 4 p.m.
Contest entry forms are available from any village retailer, at Village Hall, or online at www.coving-
ton-oh-gov. Entry is FREE no costs or fees apply!
Judging will be based on the following criteria:
T Creativity (originality, unique design, and/or use of storyline or theme)
T Lights and Decorations (display and placement)
T Special Effects (sound effects, animation, etc.)
T Overall Appearance (effort and attractiveness)
Judging of all entries will take place during the evenings of December 13 thru 15. Winning entries will
be announced at the Village Council meeting on Monday, Dec. 18.
Five prizes will be awarded:
1st Place - $250; 2nd Place - $200; 3rd Place - $150; 4th Place - $100; and 5th Place - $50. Each winner
will also receive a yard sign.
