THE GD EXPERIENCE: (please provide at least 5 lines of description)

Examples were thrown from all walks of life, and they were substantiated with facts. People put in
philosophies from Plato etc but they didn’t quite gel. The people who did well on the gd were the ones
who could actually find clues in everybodys examples and lead to a decent conclusion.
How would you rate the Chaos level in the GD (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being most peaceful 10 being most
chaotic): 3/10.
Any observations on mistakes you committed in the GD:I interrupted certain people a few times but at
certain situations it couldn’t be helped but I would suggest a more diplomatic way of cutting people who
do not make much sense or take too much time.

Any observations of what you could have done better in the GD:

Any tips for GD preparation: Read the papers,its very difficult to get knowledge about everything that’s
happened till now but there is no real excuse for not being aware of recent developments/

-Family businesses (my father has his own business),and why they don’t hit the 4th generation,it was all
based on the ambanis feud but they wanted a logical reasoning of why I thought family businesses break
up.
-Broadband and wirelss ,where I would provide them and why

Any observations on mistakes you committed in the PI:

I gave my own logic for broadband and wirless I don’t belive it was right in all respects but what
mattered was the reasoning and conviction/

Any tips for Personal Interview preparation:

Amongst engg subjects pick up engg maths and industrial management.
Otherwise manorma year book, Hindu survey of Indian industry and the papers,,,
