Analyzer Update
1 In this version

This release contains support for new and updated file forma ts. There are updates for most
technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

 New collection devices and improvements:


▫ Added support for TEMS Investigation 16.1, TEMS Symphony 7.5,
and TEMS Pocket 14.2.
▫ Added support for Accuver version 4.07.214.
▫ Added support for Ding Li WalkTour version 3.0.0.0414.
▫ Added support for JDSU AHD version 18.0-4.
▫ Added support for Ding Li for collection devices such as SAMSUNG
S4 M919, SAMSUNG S4 i337, PCTEL_Mx_V2, and iP hone 5s.
▫ Added VoLTE support for Nemo.

 Application layer improvements:


▫ Enhanced VoLTE event detection.
▫ Availability of Statistics for RTP QoS metrics for VoLTE.
▫ Added Circuit Switched Fall Back (CSFB) event detection from LTE
to CDMA.
▫ Added support for LTE-Advanced (Carrier Aggregation) to Data
Service Analysis (DSA) report.

2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Accuver support

 Added support for Accuver file version 4.07.214.

 Added attribute “LTE_UE_PwrCtrl_Gi”.

 Added attributes “Uu_RRC_Event1e_thresholdUsedFrequency[]” and


“Uu_RRC_Event1f_thresholdUsedFrequency[]”.

 Resolved a problem with loading .SCN files (XCAL-W Official Release


v3.2.13.29).

2.2 Ascom TEMS support

 Added support for TEMS Investigation 16.1, TEMS Symphony 7.5, and
TEMS Pocket 14.2.

 Fixed a problem that crashed Analyzer while loading TEMS 15.3 .trp files
into the Repository with the multi-threading feature turned on.

 Resolved a problem of missing RRC connection statistics for TEMS


Investigation log files in the LTE Cluster Acceptance report.

 Resolved a problem that prevented certain TEMS Investigations files


being loaded into Analyzer.

2.3 DataPro support

 Fixed an issue of displaying rogue values for RSRP, CINR, RSRQ an d


SSRP in the new JDSU enhanced-mode scanner.

 Fixed a problem of not decoding CDMA data collected from a


CDMA/VoLTE device that was set up to make CDMA-only voice calls.

 Added attributes for RTP QoS metrics such as RTP_Lost_Packets,


RTP_Num_Packets_Lost, RTP_Jitter, RTP_ThroughputDL, and
RTP_ThroughputUL.

2.4 Ding Li support

 Added support for Ding Li WalkTour version 3.0.0.0414.

 Added support for the following collection devices:

o SAMSUNG S4 M919

o SAMSUNG S4 i337

o PCTEL_Mx_V2

2.5 JDSU support

 Added support for JDSU AHD version 18.0.4.

 Fixed an issue that did not show UE TxPower for HSUPA calls.

2.6 Nemo support

 Added support for accurate VoLTE call event detection for Nemo log files
that contain SIP and RTP messages.

 Added support to decode gsmclassmark 2 and gsmclassmark 3 to


display the EUTRAFDD parameter.

 Added the attribute “LTE_UE_Bandwidth_DL”.

 Fixed an issue that caused LTE-TDD handset logs to crash on loading in


Analyzer.

 Resolved an issue that caused Analyzer to crash when loading certain


version 2.19 files.

2.7 Qualcomm support

 Corrected E-FDPCH support capability mapping to show the explicit


value.

 Added support for newer version of Qualcomm LTE LL1 PSS results and
SSS results.

2.8 Rohde and Schwarz support

 Created PLMN attributes for GSM, UMTS and LTE technologies. They are
“GSM_SCAN_PLMN”, “UMTS_SCAN_PLMN”, and “LTE_SCAN_PLMN” for a
network.

 Resolved an issue that showed the same PCI value for all the indices of
the Nth best values sorted by RSCP for scanner files .

 Created attributes for scanner RSRQ, RSRP and CINR measurements for
all MIMO Receive-Transmit path combinations.

 Resolved the issue of not setting GPS and speed attributes.

 Added the “RS CINR” attribute.

 Fixed a problem that caused Analyzer to crash at loading log files that
contain CSFB to UMTS.

 Resolved an issue that caused many missing KPIs in the HSPA Cluster
Acceptance report.

2.9 Swissqual support

 Fixed an issue of missing RSSI, RSRP, RSRQ and PCI attributes for LTE
scanner files.

 Added attributes for both UL and DL directions:

o Echo cancellation

o Noise suppression

o Voice round trip time

2.10 Generic

 Enhanced VoLTE call event detection for a number of scenarios.

 Resolved an issue where (for certain files) the following VoLTE attributes
w ere not present: voice call Quality of Service (QoS) metrics such as
jitter, inter-packet latency (IPDV), packet loss, and Mean Opinion Score
(MOS).

 Added Circuit Switched Fall Back (CSFB) event detection from LTE to
CDMA.

 Fixed an issue that caused Analyzer to show too many redundant CDMA
handoff events.

 Resolved a problem that caused Analyzer to detect some successful


CSFB call redirections as failures.

 Fixed a problem of not identifying SMS-related NAS messages.

 Added attributes for IP packet filter contents of traffic flow templates in


EPS bearer messages.

3 Application layer improvements

 Redesigned the Data Service Analysis (DSA) report to support the LTE
Advanced Carrier Aggregation feature. In addition to KPIs for combined
carriers, KPIs are also added for individual carriers.

4 Platform improvements
