Leave A Memorable Impression

We have just returned from taking part in the spectacular Brazilian Profit Share event in Rio de
Janeiro. It was an incredible success and a privilege to be a part of their celebration. As always, it
was a thrill to be able to recognize these great leaders and to award many hundreds of thousands of
dollars to them for their hard work and commitment. It is a lot of fun to be able to attend these
events, and we love spending time with our friends from all over the world.

We are part of a remarkable company that is filled with great people. The more time I spend with
them, the more I realize that we truly are in a 'people' business. Our success depends more on our
ability to make others feel wanted and needed, than on following a textbook definition of how to
conduct business. I am not suggesting that we ignore what we have learned with regards to running
a professional Forever business. Rather, we must ensure that we treat our Forever opportunity as
more than a hobby or a pastime. The point I'm making is that you don't need to have an MBA in
order to succeed in this business; you just need to be willing to work hard and treat others like you
would want to be treated.

There is often a misconception with regard to doing business - that we need to be tough, hard-faced
or, at times, overbearing. I understand that occasionally the pressure we face as we satisfy our need
to excel puts us under increased stress, which in turn challenges our patience. But how we act in
these situations is what will make the difference in our development as a leader. In fact, a great
expression to remember here is "grace under pressure." Memorable leaders always appear as though
they are in complete control, regardless of what's going on inside.

This 'grace' can manifest itself in many ways. One of the more obvious examples is simple polite-
ness, especially when we are handling rejection. As I have suggested before, when somebody tells
you they are not interested in our business opportunity, they are really saying 'not yet' or 'the time is
not right for me.' Another example of 'grace' is having patience with your customers, new distribu-
tors, downlines and crosslines. Take the time to listen to their questions and concerns and, by doing
so, you will set an example of teamwork and respect that will leave a memorable impression.

Remember that nobody is perfect. We should be grateful for that because the process of overcoming
our challenges, learning from our mistakes, and celebrating our successes are the threads we weave
together to create this beautiful tapestry we call life.

Summit
This year’s U.S. President’s Club Summit was held in the
modern ‘cow town’ of Dallas, Texas - home of our manu-
facturing facility, Aloe Vera of America, and our very own
Southfork Hotel and Southfork Ranch. Upon arriving at
Southfork Hotel on Sunday, we were greeted by the pleas-
ant hotel staff. With a few action-packed days ahead of us,
Monday began with a warm welcome from Rex, who
shared with us the new happenings around the Forever
world. The morning was filled with important informa-
tion and the introduction of MYFLPBIZ.com, which was
a hit! To close off the meeting, our Executive Vice
President, Gregg Maughan, inspired us all to have FUN
with FLP, leaving us motivated and ready to make 2007
our best year ever!

Following our morning meeting, we headed to one of the


most famous ranches in Texas, Southfork Ranch. Here the
President’s Club members received a grand tour of the
ranch, personally narrated by none other than Rex himself.

Later, we broke into teams for some FUN competitions
including a scavenger hunt, chili cook-off and roping con-
test. Everyone agreed that each team’s chili was cowboy
delicious. It was a FUN team-building experience for
everyone and the winning team joined Rex for dinner at
the Southfork Mansion!

Tuesday we toured Aloe Vera of America (AVA). Wow-


the new building is truly amazing with its state-of-the-art
technology and equipment! We were able to see firsthand
how the products are produced and shipped to the differ-
ent countries around the world. Special thanks to AVA
Vice President Chris Hardy, and his staff, for their person-
al attention to our group. They do an awesome job pro-
viding FLP and its distributors with the greatest products
in the world!

The afternoon was spent helping each President’s Club


member set up their MYFLPBIZ.com site and teaching
them how to use all the incredible features. We are confi-
dent that this cutting edge tool will help every FLP dis-
tributor grow their business.

Sadly, the Summit Meeting came to a close, but we look


forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Super Rally in
Anaheim, CA! A special thanks to Jimmy Gomes and the
staff at the Southfork Hotel and the Southfork Ranch for
their wonderful hospitality. Remember, have FUN and

Since FOREVER LIVING was founded in 1978, we
have gone to great lengths to make sure that our
distributors are provided with a detailed and
monthly breakdown of how bonuses are calculat-
ed. With great care and expense, the Bonus
Recap was developed, and has been updated and
improved over the past 28 years to become the
informative and motivating tool that it is today.

Upon receiving their very first Recap, new Distributors


clearly see how the bonus percentages are applied to the
orders of their downline organization to determine the
exact amount they are receiving for their sponsoring and
training efforts. It also serves as a report of the progress
they are making toward achieving higher levels. To more
seasoned Distributors, the Recap is a source of motivation
as they see the number of names multiplying and realize
that they are receiving income from downline individuals
they have never even met. It is also a reminder of what
they need to do to qualify for special incentives, such as
the car program and Profit Share. And to all Distributors, it
provides a sense of security that their downline volume is

Grand Opening
On February 2nd, we were thrilled to hold the Grand
Opening of a new FOREVER LIVING PRODUCTS office in
Morocco! Morocco will be under the operational control of
our FOREVER LIVING France office. This beautiful and
spacious office is in a great location of Rabat, and is sure to
develop new activity in Morocco.

Distributors were warmly welcomed by our Moroccan Staff;


Adil, Abdel, Karim, Omar and our Project Manager, Monsieur
Marcel. They shared their excitement in joining the FLP fami-
ly. We enjoyed a typical Moroccan buffet with an environment
