CEO Introduction
Each year walking with the King brings us new heights, new depths, and greater intimacy in love! This is not just the desire
of our King Jesus, but it is His fully available provision. Oh, what an amazing God; Oh, what an amazing Kingdom! The above
statement describes what 2017 was for me both personally, as well as with One Mind One Mouth Ministries. We have
endeavored to allow Christ to reign right where He has us!

OMOM has continued to walk steadily through the ministry-turn the Lord began in 2015. He is transitioning us into a
formation-team of leaders carrying vision for Oneness in the city within each one’s specific area of passion. Simply put, we
are ‘Helping ministries work together to bless communities’. After OMOM’s four years of focused city-wide prayer, we are
now gathering ministries together to establish a place where Romans 12:9-13 happens consistently (“Let love be without
hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving
preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation,
continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.”). We believe slow and steady
wins the race; and so we press on, step by step, to allow God to build His house on His strong foundation, with walls and
rooms where Kingdom Life flows.

The Year in Review:

First Quarter 2017 (January – March)
We began the year prioritizing prayer times. We chose to meet together for leadership prayer weekly on Wednesday
mornings 9:00-10:30 in the Cleveland House of Prayer with Mike Noble, as well as monthly to read The Chronological Bible
out-loud (Watchmen of the Word-WOW prayer meetings). At our Board meeting, Larry Matejka, of Life Leadership
Lessons, our ministry consultant, encouraged us to follow the Lord’s lead and stick with it. We recalled and discussed the
prophetic revelation given Gilbert Janke concerning God’s plans for the Gilbert Building on W. 58th Street (where our office
is located). We gathered with all the Gilbert Building tenants for Truthful Dialogue in our Building Oneness Partnership
(BOP) meetings. Shelly worked closely with our Life leadership consultant Larry Matejka to document and formalize those
meetings for future Gilbert Building tenants. These meetings then morphed into planning meetings for a summer outreach
to our W. 58th Street neighbors. I, Michelle, also continued to attend “Greater than Heroin” meetings throughout this year
to better understand how OMOM could help address the Heroin epidemic in our city.

Second Quarter 2017 (April – June)

This was a busy time of distributing financial payments for National Day of Prayer (Cuyahoga and Lorain counties) as the final
step in closing out OMOM’s National Day of Prayer connection and oversight. In addition, Michelle served National Day of
Prayer (Cuyahoga County) in organizing the Bible-Reading Marathon. I connected with and joined others at Christ the King
Vineyard Church, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and NEO House Church at The Family Ministry Center to declare God’s Word
for 5 days prior to National Day of Prayer, releasing His Light and Life over the city. This is always an absolute delight!

Tim was also on the NDP 2017 Cuyahoga Committee & created the NDP Cuyahoga website for 2017 – neodayofprayer.org.

Other work involved many hours spent with Larry Matjka (Life Leadership Lessons) to refine Truthful Dialogue and assist
with Life Consulting training. We met with the other Gilbert Building ministries (Cleveland House of Prayer and Cleveland
Childcare Center) to bless and strengthen them in their work. In early May, Michelle joined with Mike Noble and Ron
Sandoval to attend the Ohio Houses of Prayer gathering in Columbus for a great day of prayer for Ohio. Also in May, our
OMOM Secretary, Jude Mogyordy, resigned from her Board position due to health challenges. We continue to enjoy her
fellowship with the greater Body of Christ and bless her own ministry! Through the month of June, our W. 58th Street
Community Celebration plans continued to move forward with increased focus.
Third Quarter 2017 (July – September)
On July 16th we came alongside Kim Snyder’s Hugs Ministry and joined with Art McCoy, Community Activist, and numerous
other leaders from across the city to pray for unity and healing of racial divisions. A number of us were also blessed to take
part in Art McCoy’s radio show that day. What a blessing that day was as we came together for God’s good purposes in
Cleveland! New relationships were also begun with Barbara Erkin and her Key of Life Ministries (a powerful and wonderful
group of intercessors). July then brought The Call-Azusa to Cleveland…on the same day as my son’s wedding ! While I
could not attend The Call, the Lord did make the way for me to take part in the prayers that went out in the weeks prior to
the event; He uses me most frequently as a fore-runner! In July we finalized our plans for W. 58th Street “Celebrate
Community Day”. Ruth Hill and I went out walking the streets of the local community to meet and invite local merchants, as
well as the W. 58th Street residents, to come together. It was a delightful time of sharing the love of Jesus with new people
out of our ordinary day-to-day life. As we went, we encountered many different languages and we found our own unique
ways to converse. I encourage you all to reach out around you, moving out of your comfort zones!

August 5th was our big day for Celebrate Community. It was a delight beyond words! We worked together as various
ministries to provide a day of free music, food, and fun for the residents of W. 58th St. We focused especially on blessing the
children.

We had a blow-up slide, cotton candy machine, make-your-own slime station, a huge Clydesdale horse to pet, face-painting,
corn hole, playground, fresh produce give-away, blood pressure check-ups, balloons, free lunches, and adult/child raffle
prizes (These prizes were so deeply appreciated by the winners that I was completely humbled to tears!). The highlight was
the Euclid Beach Rocket Car that gave all guests rides around the neighborhood. What joy and sense of community it brought
as everybody waved and laughed wherever we went.

It was truly a day of bright light in a community which deals daily with many trials. God brought a total of 21 ministries to
work together to BLESS an entire neighborhood! You each know who you are , and I send heartfelt and abundant thanks
to you all…especially to our giving brother, Michael Sharpe at Susy’s Soups
Please visit our website to see many other pictures!
August found our personal family schedule bursting-at-the-seams as we prepared for our daughter’s September wedding.
There is no greater joy than two lives becoming one; but it does involve a lot of work! This is true in the natural and the
spiritual, and it is my heart-call for the Body of Christ, as well. (Our childrens’ three weddings and new baby showers, etc.
whithin a year and a half was really something!) In mid-August, Gil and Colleen Janke, of J.C.Partners (who own Gilbert
Building) took Larry and Michelle on a tour of the city and shared their ‘Testimony on Wheels’. We were able to have an up-
close look at the walk of submission to the Voice of the Lord as it impacted the decisions of their life. It reflected truly humility
in the real and hard places of life! I began to serve as a scribe to document this foundational work God is doing for future
effectiveness in the Kingdom of God in Cleveland.

August also brought continued adjustment to our OMOM Board. It became clear that as this ministry has transitioned from
the “praying division to the paving division”, God had begun to realign the amazing intercessors on our OMOM Board. Carla
Varga, our President, began to step into greater involvement in National Day of Prayer, with regional, and national prayer
assignments. Diane Paglio, our Pastoral Care leader, was also called in similar areas with Carla. The joy that radiated from
them as they shared their trips to bury Bibles across our state was a delight to behold! It became clear that God had already
moved them on to new territory; so in August, we finalized their release from their OMOM positions. We are very grateful
for their hours of giving service to God’s Kingdom through OMOM for the past 4 years, and especially for sharing life together.
We pray God’s best blessings upon them and their families as they continue to worship, pray, and serve in His Kingdom!

In September, we had a chance to connect with Vatreisha Nyemba, whom we serve with as part of her Personal Learning
Community. God has stirred Vatreisha’s heart deeply for Cleveland and its inner city. Tim and I joined her at New Freedom
Ministries as she shared her vision for God’s purposes in Cleveland; and again we also met some new friends—how beautiful
is the Body of Christ! Vatreisha continues to connect and work with many others in the city. She gathered a group from
Cleveland to attend the CCDA conference in Detroit in October. We are excited to see her complete her PhD work and do
wonderful things with the Cleveland Land Bank to turn this city around.

Michelle also took part in a beautiful day of prayer, Prayit4ward, in Cleveland at the Free Stamp on September 9th , led by
Bandon LaRand Davis, along with Pastor Gwen McCurry of All Nations Deliverance Church, Red4Christ, and many others.
We lifted up our voices in worship, praise and intercession for our city, state, and nation. It is exciting to see God moving
and bringing together His people on so many different fronts. I am blessed to be allowed to join and play a small role in His
giant work in Cleveland!

Fourth Quarter 2017 (October – December)

This final quarter brought a most welcomed season of quiet and rest. OMOM continued to focus on establishing the Gilbert
Building as a physical location where ministries are growing and serving the city together. We had two new ministries join us
as tenants in the Building. We are thrilled to connect with Brent and Kathleen Stanley of Raised-Up Ministries. They serve
the Body of Christ through Christian Counselling and Prison Ministry.
Also, Anita Kinser, with Unchained Love will move-in before year’s end. Unchained Love reaches out to rescue those
victimized in sex trafficking and other areas of stronghold and bondage. We were delighted that Anita could participate in
our summer street event!

These young reformers are carrying fire in their bones for the city to be touched with the Love of Jesus Christ! We believe
God is calling together Fathers and Mothers to unite with Son’s and Daughters to move together for His city-wide Kingdom
purposes.

December brought a fresh opportunity to share our OMOM vision and mission on the radio. Glenn Mertz from 1220am WHK
invited Michelle to join him on The Word radio show to share what One Mind One Mouth Ministries is now involved in. A
second program is being done to discuss “Women in Ministry” and touch on the topic of the sexual harassment from a Biblical
viewpoint. It is time for His Bride to arise and shine! God has blessed us with Christian Media in our city and we appreciate
them for their work in the Body of Christ! Look for the podcast links of these radio shows on our web site.

We believe God has called the Gilbert Building to be one of the places where He wants to connect and nurture leaders
together, while serving our own neighbors. We excitedly look forward to 2018 because we believe….

“Now, the God of all patience and comfort is granting us to be like-minded toward one
another, according to Christ Jesus, that we may with one mind and one mouth glorify the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6.

Stewardship and Financial status:

Chief Operating Officer Tim Kerney and Treasurer Mathew Beck coordinated and managed the OMOM budget in 2017.
Tim scheduled and conducted 3 budget planning meetings this year. The budget committee worked together to establish a
budget that allowed OMOM to carry out their ministry purpose. The budget also allowed OMOM to give generously (over
50% of income) to other ministries and those in need. Many were blessed thanks to the generosity of our donors. The
following table highlights significant figures from the 2016 and 2017 budgets:

YEAR Starting Balance Income Expense Ending Balance Charitable giving

2016 $2992 $4897 $4826 $4312 ** $1315
2017 * $4312 $2560 $5485 $1387 $1321

*2017 Financials are Year to Date. ** 2016 ending balance included NDP-assigned donations
As the above table indicates, NDP assigned donations from prior years were removed from the OMOM budget to reflect the
formal separation of OMOM from National Day of Prayer activity. The remaining Cuyahoga funds totaling $760.54 were fully
dispersed early 2017, however Lorain still has $140.68 awaiting release. OMOM requires final direction on the 2018 Lorain
County National Day of Prayer Team County Coordinator designated to receive the funds. Michelle has been working with
NDP’s Ohio State Coordinator, Nancy Garver, on this detail. OMOM will continue holding Lorain’s fund’s in escrow until the
approved transfer is identified.

We are so very grateful to our ministry partners and followers for their financial and prayerful support. Without their support,
we would not be able to do God’s work in our great city. And a BIG thank you goes out to our Treasurer Matthew Beck for
volunteering to manage our books! Annual Profit and Loss statements are available for anyone that would like to see a more
detailed view of our financials. Please email us at the website below if you would like to schedule an appointment for that.
Thank you and God bless you for your support!

What’s next:
If you have made it this far, many thanks for reading through our 2017 annual report and hearing our passion to see Jesus
and His Kingdom purposes move forward in Cleveland, Ohio. We are a small, fiery group of committed believers completely
volunteering our time and finances to advance God’s Kingdom. If anything in the above mission has sparked your heart to
join with us in the work, we would love to hear from you. Our email address is noted below.
Of course, every non-profit ministry relies on God to supply and meet our needs in every area. Our faithful Treasurer,
Matthew Beck, serves our ministry with professional and impeccable oversight of all our finances. We believe God is faithful
to raise up those who will provide finances, as well as hold us before the Lord in prayer for all the other needs.
During this year of 2017, we poured our hearts, time, and resources out in prayer, connecting, serving, and blessing others.

Since we have not done any specific fundraising events, we are trusting the Lord and friends of OMOM to help supply the
resources we need to continue His work in 2018. We most graciously welcome any financial donations you would
consider blessing OMOM with. Your year-end tax-exempt donations can be easily and SECURELY made at our website
noted below. Donations can also be mailed to our Gilbert address below. Thank you in advance for partnering with us
to make a difference in our great city and neighborhoods!
“In Him we live and move and have our being”, and we love doing it together, God’s way!

We send heartfelt thanks, love, and Christmas Blessings as we Rejoice in the amazing gift of the
Lord Jesus Christ. All for Him and for His Glory! These are amazing days to be alive to serve the
King of Kings—together!
