Srečo Dragan je diplomiral iz slikarstva na Akademiji za
likovno umetnost v Ljubljani, leta 1969 in na isti akademiji
končal magistrski študij. Kot štipendist Prešernovega Sklada
se je leta 1973 izpopolnjeval na področju medijske umetnosti
v Londonu. V obdobju 1984/1985 je bil štipendist francoske
vlade za video umetnost v Parizu, na VII. Univerzi v Parizu
in Audiovizualnem laboratoriju INA centra ter SFP TV Pariz.
Leta 1968 je bil član skupine OHO in z njo razstavljal v
SC v Zagrebu. Leta 1969 je skupaj z Nušo Dragan posnel Srečo Dragan graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in

media artworks into internet art projects and interactive
installations, based on mobile platforms.

Raziskovalni projekt zgodovinske predstavitve lastnih del na dvanajstih KONCEPTNIH TABLAH, kot
umetniške instalacije, sloni na različnosti pristopov k izumljanju načinov, kako re-kodirati dela
nestabilnih medijev, kot so video happeningi in tehnoperformansi ter novomedijske interaktivne
instalacije in jim omogočati ponovni vstop v komunikacijo z gledalcem.
Konceptualna tabla I,150x50cm, Tako prva predstavitev retrospektivnih del pod naslovom Time is Out of Joint, 1968-2ooo, ki sem
projekt, v originalnem odtisu, jo skupaj s sodelavci pripravil v spodnjih prostorih Moderne galerije v Ljubljani v decembru
revija EKRAN, štev. 89/90, 2000, je sledila tej intenci tehnomodificiranega pogleda, ki je omogočila gledalcu, da skozi
Ljubljana 1971 hipertekstualne grafe, tekste in fotografije vstopa v sebi lastno tehnoimaginacijo.

na dveh konceptnih tablah. Šlo je za premik, od uporabe bifokalnih leč prikazanih fotografij,
na prvih tablah, k uporabi foto okvirjev, ki so omogočali prikaz filmov in video del; in obenem
predstavitev medijskih del v kontekstu konceptualne umetnosti OHO-ja.

art installations, is based on variety of approaches to inventing the ways of how to re-code

myself with a new module on two concept boards. It represented a shift from the application of
bi-focal lenses of the photographs displayed on the first boards, to the application of photo
frames, enabling a display of films and video works; as well as a presentation of media works
within the context of the conceptual art of the OHO group.

In the third, the new generation of concept boards, I participated at the exhibition entitled
the Museum of Robots, at the Umetnostna galerija Maribor, in November 2011. Besides the relatio-
grams, text and photographs, a concept board consisted of a computer, linked to the internet
and the possibility to access the data base of the »ROBOT LEONARDO« project and a screen to
display scientific plans of the Institute Jožef Stefan.
In the project of the latest, two new concept interactive boards, displayed at the solo
exhibition within the current SPECULUM ARTIUM ‘12 festival, in the new media city of Trbovlje,
there will be the most recent module, opening an important paradigm of today and concerning all
in the world, engaged in Capturing of Unstabling media. It represents a personal contribution

Concept tables I & II, interactive LCD The most recent concept boards in the form of a multi touch screen module, constitute the
touch screen, Speculum Artium 2012, DDT interaction with the viewer. With a touch of a finger it opens several separate levels of media
Gallery, Trbovlje such as concepts, films, and photographs of my own projects as well as the documents from the
text: cut-out blue letters for the floor base of the world history of neo-avantgarde art. The data contents changes with each viewing,
as the interactive programme module enables the viewer to write in – with a virtual keyboard
– her or his realizations, reflections, and stands. The documentation itself, as a work of art
in progress, is initiated by the author; but it becomes an separate entity, in its ceaseless
transformation.
This, however, is not a mere technological paradigm, but also one of socialization, where the
data base itself becomes the trace of all the modifications caused by entrances into the process
of communication.
