• Students discover their talents, skills and explore how they can apply them

successfully to the new world of work in a meaningful way. • The opportunity for participants to make their own money and start a small business (in our post paper route youth economy.) • Project operations located in available space at Junior Achievement of Central Ohio (JA) with intent of collaborating with JA to increase visibility thus increasing community impact and revenue. Team Street (TS) Guerilla Marketing Biz Past business projects include a summer lawn cutting business and a street- style coupon/promotional card distribution service and selling merchandise that “gives back” to existing community youth programs Past clients include: Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, Fifth-Third Bank, Abracci, ArtSafe Foundation, Donatos Pizza, The Chase School and all thirteen Rally’s Hamburger locations Current Youth Business Project Team Street Afterschool Apprenticeship: small groups of students that successfully complete the orientation move into an apprentice role with opportunity to learn and earn. • On site professional T-Shirt Business • Academic Assault Vehicle – A “classroom on wheels” where students learn basic carpentry skills while creating products to generate income. “The TS youth participate in learning lab sessions in public speaking, personal finance, marketing and philanthropy 101 to prepare them to run a small business by learning how to think like an entrepreneur.
