Main contents of the project work : As the hotels are most important and
beneficial part of the wellness events or we can say for today’s growing
MICE industry, hotels and resorts are the crucial part of the wellness tourism
and they holding the different kind of events and making event grand
successful and memorable one. So as same as of in country Southeast Asia,
Europe, India etc. Are hosting MICE events.
As there are many innovative and creative ideas as for hosting the
MICE events. For wellness tourism like on spa resort, beach resort and
hotels. But hotels added the more popularity as they are having on stop for
all concepts as they including package. So southeast Asia is the placing the
top position for hosting such wellness tourism related to MICE, in this project
we can get to learn or we get to know about the various strategies for
wellness tourism, hotels and spa are making and encouraging or demanding
the MICE organizer that to host such event in their concern and making the
brand more famous with more advertisement and strategies.

Key points / main observation:

As in this subject we get to know the are the prime keys importance of the
MICE event that in today’s time many multi-national or big companies are
having their annual income with their valuable and respected employees so
they are arranging the MICE meetings on such destination. So that the busy
schedule of the employee can get some free time later attending such kinds
of meetings and then they spend their personal time by the schedule get
over. So however in this topic we come to know the observation like how the
hotels and resort approach to clients for hosting or introducing such events
and what the strategies are they are using to encourage and boost to the
MICE clients.

Main objectives of the project, main point of interest:

As in this topic we came to know about objectives of the wellness tourism


related to MICE industry. In this subject we are getting information about how
hotels are boosting or encouraging to MICE industry to host such event and

Nowadays, the global worlds are travelling world. People eagerly travel
national and international destination. For business or personal purpose or a
reasons. Due to understanding between the countries around the globe
business professional travel and personal leisure to attend the Meetings,
Conferences and Exhibitions to share and exchange ideas and information
discuss and solve the queries and trade one’s product and service. This
business activity plays a very vital role in travel industry. Due to that not only
our expand existing business

sectors globally because of its high potential value, creative benefits great
output, effect creating employment and business opportunity and a powerful
driving force for all related industries organizing international convention and
exhibition not only generates a great economic benefit for the host of the city
or a country. But also increase its exposure internationally.
Hence many countries or cities are recreating their attitudes towards
Tourism related service and industries. Since 2002 promoting and
developing the MICE industry has become one the most important
development strategies in Taiwan. This growing method has led to the
emergence of challenging jobs in an innovative sector that represents of the
fastest growing areas of service industry. Event Managers are in demand by
the organization that require specialist to deliver every facet of the event in
proactive and skilful manner.

What are the MICE?

The term of MICE in the context of travel is an acronym meeting, incentives,


conference and exhibition. The MICE market follows a specialized niche of
group tourism dedicated to planning, booking, and facilitating conferences,
seminars and other events and it’s a big profit maker in the travel industry.
The acronym is at the edge to fall out of tower and some prefer to call it

information and ideas. Some time meeting might be as small scale

The International Association of Professional Congress Organizers defines a


meeting as more number of people coming together in at one place for a
particular activity.

It can be a one-time event or it might regularly. A conference is similar to


meeting but usually has a specific objective and exchange of information. A
congress is usually a larger gathering. There are different kinds of meetings
such as board meeting, management meetings, shareholder meetings, client
meetings general meetings, committee meetings, training seminars, etc.

Incentive travels include personal trips attention to happiness and excitement

educational sessions, participates in meetings/discussions, socialize, or
attend other organized events.
Convention is gathering of people with common objectives. It is organized to
exchange the ideas and views and information of common interest to the
group. Those who interested in registration for the convention they can pay
fee for all the session, discussions, food and beverage, dinner and site-visit.

EXIBIHITION
Exhibitions can generally be described as ‘presentations of products and
services to an invited audience with the object of though a sale or informing
the visitors. Exhibition are activates organized to showcase new product,
service and information to those people who are interested, such as potential
customer or buyers. It is an event designed specifically to display and sell
goods to end users in particular market segment

authority to promote and manage the conventions. In earlier days, many

(IAC) were established in 1914. The number of convention bureau in 1920
was 28. Today there are almost 600 convention and visitor bureau in 25
