Sub: Grant of grid connectivity permissions in respect of solar power projects getting
connected to MSEDCL'ssubstation.
Ref: i) GoM RE policy dated 20.07.2015 and methodology for its implementation dated
09.09.2015.
ii) Various proposals received and recommendation letters received from MEDA.
With reference to the above subject, it is to inform that many solar power projects
holderswith project capacity from 1 MW to 10 MW are approaching this office for getting
connectivity at MSEDCL's substations.

As per the G. R. dated 09.09.2015 for Methodology for implementation of GoM RE Policy
- 2015 dated 20.07.2015, a Grid Committee has been formulated under the Chairmanship of
Chief Engineer (STU) which comprises representatives of MSEDCL, MSETCL & MEDA as
members for taking decisions regarding grant/cancellation/extension of Grid connectivity
permissions in respect of Solar and Wind Power projects in the State of Maharashtra.

Further, as per the procedure laid down in the Methodology, all the proposals regarding
grant of solar & wind grid connectivity shall be put up before the grid committee and the grid
connectivity shall be approved on the basis of the decision of Committee.

In this regard, this office is in receipt of proposals from MEDA requesting Grid
connectivity at MSEDCL's substation. Accordingly, this office has obtained the technical
feasibility reports from the concerned field offices.

The feasibility in respect of following proposals is received by this office which is to be

put up before the committee.
