Terms and condition:

1. From this semester on (Fall term, 2016), all the scholarship from Taiwan Tech will be tuition waiver
plus half scholarship, the rest of the scholarship will be provided by the supervisor of the graduate
student from the Department of Chemical Engineering. Therefore, the “Agreement Form for
Supervision” is applied to confirm the agreement between the perspective students with the designated
Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering (Taiwan Tech).
2. The other part of your scholarship will be provided by your supervisor once you and your supervisor
both agree and sign the “Agreement Form”, after you turn in this form to the “International Student
Consultant” before Oct. 21, 2016.(Office: E2-205-2, Ms. Tina or Ms. Anna)
3. Each Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering (Taiwan Tech) could take three graduate
student (for Ph.D. or Master Degree) for each Academic year. The maximum number of Ph.D. students
designated are two.
4. For Ph.D. student, the supervisor has to pay 7,000 NTD/month; For master student, the supervisor has
 to pay 2,000~4,000 NTD/month. The financial supports from the supervisor also depend on the good
research performance of student and the good cooperation between student and his professor during
studying at Taiwan Tech (NTUST), which will be evaluated every year.
5. Please note that decision for the scholarship will be made on the discussion of the Committee for all the
matched groups (student and advisor);
6. Please note all the above mentioned procedures might have specific deadline, please follow the deadline
that we usually take actions accordingly.
7. The scholarship status for the second academic year would be determined by your supervisor, so please
keep good interactions with your supervisor.
8. It should be noticed that the International Affairs Committee of Chemical Engineering Department
will reserve the final right for inspection.
