Please describe a situation in which you interacted with people from different
backgrounds (nationality, social economic background etc), what you learned from
that experience and how it can help you as an IBA student.

Last year, I had the chance to take part in an exchange programme named “Euroweek”,
which was an opportunity to interact with people from different backgrounds, coming from
21 European countries. This project lasted for a week, during which the participants were
involved in various activities, with the aim of developing students on both educational and
personal level. The project included a presentation of each country's traditional cuisine,
followed by workshops in various fields (theater, painting, dance), intercultural discussions
and sport competitions. After this exchange programme, not only did I gain a rich
understanding of other cultures, but I also improved my language skills in English and
German through practical immersion. Furthermore, I developed both my communication
and empathy skills and I established a strong sense of tolerance, realizing the importance
of cultural diversity, which can make a difference by providing innovative ways of thinking
and creative ideas. Therefore, I am confident that I will easily integrate into the IBA
community, taking into consideration my previous experience with multiculturalism.

goals, because more cultures put together will encompass more information and more
ways of thinking, solving issues and coming with great ideas. In conclusion, my

meaning that I will easily integrate into IBA community and I will… .experience with multiculturality is quite vast.
