forget + to-V (= forget to do sth): quên là phải làm try + to-V (= do one's best; attempt): cố gắng
gì hết sức để làm gì, nỗ lực làm gì
He forgot to switch off the TV Try to eat less high-cholesterol food.
forget + V-ing (=forget a past event): quên là đã try + V-ing (= do sth as an experiment): thử
làm gì (trong quá khứ) làm gì đó
I’ll never forget meeting Jane for the first time. Try cutting down on fat. You might get
thinner.

remember + to-V (=remember to do sth): nhớ là want + to-V (=wish): muốn làm gì
phải làm gì I want to stop smoking.
I hope you’ll remember to tidy your room. want + V-ing (= sth needs to be done): điều
remember + V-ing (recall a past event): nhớ là đã gì đó cần phải được thực hiện
làm gì (trong quá khứ) This room wants tidying up.
I don’t remember him ever tidying up his room.

mean + to-V ( = intend to): có ý định làm gì stop + to-V (= pause temporarily) tạm ngừng
