o The following vehicles are registered to Carlos Santa Cruz
o AFW4260 2001 Dodge Durango
o AFW4013 1994 Ford F-150
o ACX2095 1991 Toyota Previa
o AFA8466 1983 Datsun
 The following vehicles are registered to Pedro Santa Cruz
 P5575 1997 Ford Expedition
** All of the vehicles listed above have suspended registrations for “no
insurance”

Person of interest: Pedro Santa Cruz

Pedro has multiple TECS hits involving narcotics

Person of Interest: Carlos Enrique Santa Cruz

Person of Interest: Carlos Enrique Santa Cruz Jr. aka “Sopis”

Carlos has an extensive history
 Both alien and narcotic smuggling
 Narcotic possession
 Assault and Burglary

Possible new trend: Groups laying up near the dirt portion of Live Oak
Drive. Groups are entering in the early morning hours laying up until
mid swing shift and then loading up.

Rocking’s are increasing

Area of Interest: Resident on Thelma stated that between the hours of


Midnight to 6 a.m. aliens have been loading up with narcotics at the
dead end.

Existing trend: Aliens are using the junk cars behind the Amphenol
building to hide until they load up.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SO:

Leon Canyon / Possible Bandit Activity

Possible Bandit Activity: Sycamore Canyon


o Two unidentified subjects carrying firearms north east of Sycamore
Canyon
o Subjects dressed in camouflage
o Subjects proceeded south into Sycamore

Area of Interest: West Frontage KP25, KP29 loading with marijuana
o Shuttles driving West Frontage south bound from Wisdom Tubes,
KP29 and Palo Parado.
o Mules have claimed shuttles are loading up with marijuana, drive
south for a distance then turn north bound
o One shuttle name given “Nogales Shuttle”
Area of Interest: Alien smuggling traffic Antonio Court.
o Between the hours of 1400-1500
o Aliens cross through Atascosa ranch house during the hours of 0600
and 2000
o Vehicle to look for AKW5766, 1988 Ford ranger
o Vehicle is registered to David Lowell (Atascosa Ranch), but is owned
by Cruz Gutierrez (ranch hand)
o Female driver may be daughter of Gutierrrez
o Another vehicle in the area between 0530hrs and 0630 hrs., dark
green in color sedan

Canyon

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY:

Area of Interest: 2369 East Frontage Road
o Aliens are being dropped off near this residence on a regular basis
o Aliens walk through the neighborhood and cross Chavez Siding on
the pavement, where the whitewall meets the barbed wire fence
o Aliens follow an old two track that parallels the pole line and their
sign ends near milepost 28 on the East Frontage going towards the
houses
o The entrance off East frontage has two white pillars
o Vehicle of interest is a cream color newer SUV

New Trend: Liquid Methamphetamine


o Intel received indicates the following vehicles are transporting liquid
methamphetamine in reservoirs through the Southern Border Ports
of Entry
 Chrysler Pacifica
 Chevy Trailblazer
 Envoy
 Plus similar type vehicles

Area of Interest: Train track Checkpoint circumvention


o Train tracks continue to be an active area for narcotic
smugglers.

o Days to swing shift change is the preferred time to circumvent
the checkpoint.
o Narcotic smugglers are attempting to circumvent the
checkpoint by driving around the gate.
