Beavers 02 February, 2018 Re: Fomey Soccer Team Investigation of Hazing and Sexual Assault Allegations Dear Parent or Guardian, The Kaufman County Sherif’s Office ("KSO") is conducting an investigation into allegations of hazing and sexval assault regarding the Forney High School soccer team. KSO will conduct a thorough, fair, and complete investigation to uncover and preserve all evidence to ensure that justice is served on behalf of al victims. You are receiving this letter because your child has been identified as a member of the Forney High School soccer team. We would like to speak individually with each member of the Forney High School soccer team by conducting a forensic interview of your child. A forensic interview is a structured conversation with a minor that is intended to elicit detailed information about a possible event(s) that a minor may have experienced or witnessed. Forensic interviews at the Child Advocacy Center are conducted by a forensic interview specialist. These forensic interviews are recorded on to a digital video disc (DVD) and provided to law enforcement. To schedule the forensic interview of your child please contact Sgt. Danny Gammon @ 972-932-9631. We are using this process to identify any and all witnesses, victims, and also those individuals who do not possess any relevant information. We are also attempting to preserve all evidence that may be relevant to the allegations of hazing and sexual assault regarding the Forney High School soccer team. We are asking that you preserve any and all communications with Forney High School, members of the Forney High School soccer team, coaches or staff involved with the Forney High School soccer team, and any other communications with any individual that could possibly pertain to this investigation. These communications include, but are not limited to emails, text, Facebook posts, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Please provide these communications to Sgt. Danny Gammon @ 972-932-9631 or danny.gammon@kaufmanso.com. We would also like to speak with parents and any other person that might have information that would assist in this investigation.
